I have the same issue. Though it is usable :)

Absolutely true, :D I just added some low humming background sounds, but I could not make in time some music myself. It is something that I look forward to address once the jam is over :D

Did you manage to get to space and see the gravity generator break down? That would be even sillier ahah

ahah Thank you!

I have already fixed some improvements over the character controls and movements, :D Though those changes will be published after the Jam is over :)

For solo in 7 days, well done! I found this from youtube, and I rushed to review to help :)

(I am not a full-time game dev or an expert) if I can help with some feedback, I would have added some more introduction/small tutorial. I did not understand what to do on each level, but I figured it out eventually. One time I got self-locked, and I had to restart the game, a pause menu would have helped! You could engage youtube’s viewer with some play-tests and gather feedback from them! That would be super cool!

The audio/music was well-fitted for a platformer, and the controls were well tuned. I don’t think this game has any bug. :) It is a good starting point! Keep it going :D

Yes indeed, the game loop takes a bit too much time, sadly! Learning to keep it shorter :O

Did you reach out to space multiple times? :) What is your score?

Reviewed! Thank you! :)

Nice music, though I think I got into some bugs: it was very hard for me to walk, and the dialogues got me stuck a little. For some reason, the pause menu did not work. I restarted the game a few times 😅 I wish it had a build for macOS / Steam Deck / Linux or Web too, but I am a little picky, ahaha.

Nice concept, I liked the music and I enjoyed the feelings that it caused: Like being in space! I wish I had some sort of tutorial, and to move faster, that would have helped me enjoy a little more!

Nice dialogues and style too :D

Kudos! Let me know what you think of my game too ;-) !

Thank you :)

The visual and the sounds are impressive! The fighting mechanic is a little clunky and feels unnatural, though it is a good start :) Well done!

Thank you :)

No, it was not mean! The opposite, :) I appreciate feedback and I agree with you :D Thank you! I am learning a lot on the craft and this is very useful. :)

Reviewed! Well done! Let me know what you think of my game :)

What kind of party do they throw! The deep lore of the game made me FOMO the parties hard, ahah

Jokes aside, Well done! Very polished and well executed. The initial tutorial levels are clear and introduce 2 mechanics that are well implemented. It is well-designed and well implemented! Kudos

It reminded me a lot of my game: the camera and the holding mechanic, :P I felt like “Oh I know why you implemented it this way”, and I have a thing or two to learn from Clean Up The House Party :)

Kudos, well done! Added to my hidden jam gems list!

Nice game! I found it hard to click at the beginning, but with some power ups I got it just right, and I learned :D I nothing negative to say: for 7 days of work it looks nice!

Challenging, even if it is not my kind of game, I think it has potential. I have added it to my list of hidden jam gems :)

Reviewed! :D

Reviewed! Very silly, :D We both used poop as round and yellowish eheh I hope you will try and review my game too!

Is this cheating? :P Anyway, I liked the game! It was weird and funny and surprising me with new ways to get, uhm, points?

I am surprised to see that I did not need a tutorial, and I that means that it was well-designed! Well done, :) Kudos to your sister too for the burp! xD

Let me know what you think of my game too!

I missed them entirely, :D I’ll go back and try again :D

Thank you! :)

Impressive for doing it all by yourself in one week! What tools did you use? Out of curiosity! :D

Nice concept, cooking, the starting was very catchy and got my attention.

I did not understand how to see the orders, and I got some weird bugs where the beef stakes and salmon stakes would not cook, though probably I was doing something wrong and a tutorial would have helped! :-)

I also managed to make something perfect without cooking! :D

The graphics were very good, I also enjoyed the sounds in the background that were not annoying, having some music that would cause tension and stress would help, but nothing can go wrong right? When the light went off I wish I had some more effects, or a task to complete to feel the urgency.

Besides these small things, I like the concept and it is clearly well executed :D Kudos! Let me know what you think of my game too, I would love some feedback!

Reviewed! Well done, got scared… :P ( Thx for the Linux build <3 ) Let me know what you think of my game too!

I got scared a bit eheh, The graphics, models and sounds are very fitting and on point! The atmosphere is there and I got scared! A simple run where things go like “ Should I look behind me now? OH NO! RUN “ :) And having a few endings made it fun and replayable. I have added it to my list of jam gems!

Kudos and well done! :D Let me know what you think about my game!

Reviewed! Let me know what you think of my game! :D I hope you manage to go to space a few times eheh

Ah I wanted to do a doughnut sooooo badly!

The controls are harder than I expected, and it could be improved :) For 7 days it is hard to get things right! You can for sure improve it when the jam is over :) Add more effects, and make it fun to play :D

Keep working hard and well done 🚀

Done and reviewed! Let me know what you think of my game too :)

Nice music, I enjoyed a lot the depth effect to know heights, but sometimes it was hard to understand what was a column. You could have fixed it with some lights and shadows effects to show what would be a column.

Some of the platforms were easy, and sometimes too hard. I did not enjoy that I lost the key when I died, or that I had to try over and over again to know what platform was moving, and starting from scratch. The trolling is intended, but can I please make it less painful to start from the beginning with no key? I did not understand how to get over these two lasers:

That said, for 7 days, very well done! The music is nice, and the idea of doing jumps with a 2D zoom is very cool! Kudos :)

EDIT: Added to my list of hidden jam gems :)

Reviewed :D Thank you for playing my game too :)

Reviewed :D Thank you :)

Reviewed :D The voiceover was perfect :) Kudos ehe

Left a review, found 2 bugs-ish! Kudos :) Let me know what you think of mine!

Well done! I have found a small bug after playing for a while. When changing scene in the logs, it says:

TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'GodotAudio.ctx.currentTime')

And another one that got me stuck at the beginning when looking at the eye, if I walk too fast behind it while exploring. I could not move.

Those are minor things, expected for 7 days, but I enjoyed it! The audio narration was nice, maybe preventing it from overlapping when going too fast would be easier to digest, as sometimes the narrator would speak over themselves.

Besides that, Kudos! I reviewed! :) Keep working on it, and let me know what you think of my game too! :D

Nice start! I wish there was some animation when packing/dropping an object, but those are gimmick to make the gameplay enjoyable, as a starter to test the game, it is fine. The puzzle solving felt repetitive as sometimes it would be the same solutions.

Well done for a solo in 7 days :)

Done :D

Done :)

I wish it was completed ehehe I liked the music and the idea of the mechanics :) Nobody said it was easy, but I tried to touch for long enough the spikes without anything happening. Keep working on it once the jam is over: it is a nice start :D

Thank you! I checked it out and left a review and feedback :-)

Yes I did, :D I reviewed it too! Did you get to space a few times? :) The Yaks are actually pooping the fuel :O

I think I killed a fly with a bazooka :P

Well done, I did not find any bug. It was a little hard to hit with the racket at the beginning, but then with the power-ups things got easier… until I destroyed my pig with a massive blast area! I was expecting more visual effects from it, but for 7 days it is delightful :)
