Interesting concept for a game! Didn't seem to be able to touch the spike though, not sure.

I don't like carrots :D

This game had a very cool premise, it's a shame it lasts so little. Nice concept and ambience :)

The carrot killed me! I wanted to try; it was stronger than me! Then I went back to the "sorry" level. Did I miss something? Liked the idea where every game code is reversed!

Submitted

Is there more to the game than the “touch this” part? Because I got stuck there. I like the style. I think it can be an interesting idea.

Submitted

Very fun game, especially the narrative through the background text, but I got stuck on the "touch to start" part

For the time you had with your mishaps. It's a good game!

I liked the concept and visuals, loved the death pit mechanic :) sucks that the game was unfinished even though it seemed fun. Also some audio would have been nice.

The concept of the game was very cool, and I would love to see it fleshed out more. It'll be great to see your creative ideas at more game jams in the future!

This was an interesting game. I would love to play a further developed version, but to be fair you only had a week to do it. I was interested to see where it goes. Good job, and please continue to develop this. I see a lot of potential.

I like the writing, and the concept is great! At first I thought the "could not finish the game" was a trick of the nightmare too lol but the spikes did nothing. I see this is your first jam and its great that you're already so creative! Keep it up!

Submitted

I hope you can finish the game haha, I've expected some jumpscare or sth :)))

Submitted

I wish it was completed ehehe I liked the music and the idea of the mechanics :) Nobody said it was easy, but I tried to touch for long enough the spikes without anything happening. Keep working on it once the jam is over: it is a nice start :D

Submitted

Finish it please! Idea is strong and make sure you keep working on it.

Liked the visuals in this and the concept of traps not killing you is quite fun.

Good concept! I wish you got to work on it more. Would have loved more content.

Thank you for the feedback! I know I ran way to back in terms of content. It was my first game jam and I wasn't very good at time management. I will surely try harder next time!

I like the concept! Great job!

The ideia of the game is sooo good, it's really sad you couldn't finish it, I really loved the concept!

Congratulations for your great work.

Hey Gui, glad to know you liked it! Yeah, this was actually my first game jam, so I really underestimated how tricky time management would be. I’m glad you still liked the concept though—it’s motivating to hear! Hoping to get better at pacing myself next time.

Wow! This is your first jam?! You must keep motivate this was brilliant!!

Try out the brackeys video on game jams, it has a lot of tips on time management, and keeping the project as small as you can.

great idea! It seems like you came up with an idea that would be very story based and hard to accomplish in the time frame of a game jam. This is a game that if finished could become amazing. Although something to watch out for is clarity. It's cool to have a color scheme but it's nice to see the difference between the legs and the background. Overall, really great!

Thanks so much for the awesome feedback! You’re totally right—this was my first game jam, and I got a bit ambitious with the story idea. Time management was way harder than I expected, so I couldn’t finish it, but I’m thrilled you think it could be amazing if completed! I’ll definitely keep the clarity tip in mind for next time, good call about making the legs stand out more against the background. Appreciate it!
