Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed the cat's night adventures! The altar is a small tribute to a cat I had for 20 years. I’m actually really happy you found it. Please don’t feel sad, she lived a long, full, and very happy life.

Thanks for playing :) glad you liked my kitty pic <3
The platforms and wall sticking as you said was mentioned by other players, something I didn't think much of during development but now it's obvious how much of an improvement can be made there. Thanks for bringing it up, even though it was already said, this just shows how important it is to get this fixed!
I wasn’t looking at all three signs. I didnt read the guide and was only reading room pages. The first room I couldn’t tell which walls were wet, I could only see the water on the floor. Second room I couldn’t hear any sound until i put the volume way up. Maybe it would have helped if I used headphones but I was on speakers. After that it was easy to tell the two signs, especially with the torch blowing, maybe thats a good first level mechanic as it’s way easier to tell apart :) Again these are very minor things, the game as a whole is pretty amazing and it’s impressive it was done in such short time period.
I love the atmosphere and was really impressed by the visuals. The difficulty curve is a bit weird, it starts off super hard because you don't know the tell tails and are unsure of what to look for, and as you progress you get more and more hints of how to avoid the wrong door, so if you get past the second od third door you're pretty much good. I also found the sound to be a bit low. That said, once you get the hang of it the game is pretty enjoyable, and the story endgame cut-scene is a pretty nice addition! Very well done!
This game is amazing, and as a fan of Portal I had a great time! I did encounter some bugs, one very funny on the third level where you're supposed to drop the block in the tiny hole, well, without revealing too much, let's just say I managed to get myself small instead of the block, and I jumped in that hole and got myself stuck there. I think a level reset will go a long way but anyway impressive work, very well done!
this is visually mindblowing, I love the environments, character design and portraits and animations. The possess mechanic is unique and interesting. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out what to do after going in the garden and study room. Looks super fun, I just wish i could have seen more of it. Good job!
This is pretty amazing. The graphics are simple but consistent, so no complaints there, actually impressive that there's so much variety of 3d models made in so little time. The map is huge and very lively. I think adding "sprint" would be nice, but I found myself riding on cars for going faster, so it wasn't too bad :) Found all cats, great game!
Fun little game, it becomes a bit repetitive once you figure out they keep hiding in the same few places in each house, and I managed to bug it and it said I found 12 out of 11 and the mayor was telling me to keep going (maybe it was the extra guy? don't want to reveal too much in case he's a secret). but no big deal had fun playing anyway. Respect for making all the sprites yourself, pretty impressive for one week work and only thing I found lacking was walk animation. Overall very well done, good job!
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate you taking the time to write this!
I tried to make the objectives more clear, by adding the "objective" text on top and added lights on objective items, but there's always room for improvements, and I had other ideas about it too but ran out of time, and of-course since it's a puzzle game I didn't want to give away too much in the objective. The "pillow" is actually a red book :D and the other bookcase has a books sorted by color and a red one is missing, giving a clue about the puzzle. The issue with this is only after submitting I saw on the web version the books are layered behind the bookshelf so it's not as obvious as I wanted it to be.
The stairs jumping also has a lot of room for improvements, for example not having collision from the bottom side.
The music in the library is a feature, but someone else also interpreted it as bug. First off music is supposed to fade out and not immediately stop, and the library level is supposed to start quiet (as it is), and then when you turn it on (via the lever) it's supposed to become "alive" and the music to start. When it's alive, it will always have music.
I didn't think about adding a squeeze-through animation, but yeah that will make it feel better.
thanks for playing and super happy that you enjoyed the game! and thanks for the super helpful tip on the wall sticking, I didn't think about it much when testing although obviously I did notice it, and was eventually going to look into it, and your tip goes a long way into fixing that.
Thanks again for the detailed feedback!
The game looks visually amazing, sounds are also great. I couldn't get past some levels as I couldn't figure out how slingshot worked, but thanks to the level selector I was able to cheat myself past that and see all of the levels, all of which look amazing :) great job very well made, just maybe loosen up the controls a bit
Thank you!! I’m really glad you noticed the idle zoom, you're the first to mention it, and there's also an idle animation if you wait a bit longer. Appreciate the collision feedback too, some people have also pointed that out, I didn't think much of it during development/play-through but it's definitely annoying and can be improved.
I’ve been going through submissions and some of these games are genuinely insane. Creative mechanics, strong vibes, amazing audio and visuals, all built from scratch in a week.
Even beyond the standouts, just finishing a jam game in seven days is something to be proud of. Huge respect to everyone who shipped.
Amazing job, all of you.
I love how you made the trees pop up as you get to the edge of the map, as well as how the stairs appear. Pretty scary environment, keeps you on edge the whole time. Gameplay reminds me of Slender. I got through on the first try, not sure if you can get caught in the end and I'm not willing to find out :) Great job making this!
Thanks for playing and glad you liked the game. I appreciate the feedback for the platforming and wall sticking, someone else also pointed that out and it definitely can be improved, I just didn't think about it much during development. As for the no-music in the library, that was 100% intentional, with the idea being the library gets "activated" and alive, so the player knows they can continue upwards, otherwise it just felt like a lever was pressed and nothing happened :)
Just saw that you found my kitty picture :) so happy you made it there, it's something small I did for my cat that I grew up with.
