still, very cool!

This was such a fun and interesting game! My only gripe was that it was a bit difficult to figure out what needed to be done for the first two levels, but the last two were just perfect!

Thanks for your feedback, glad you liked it!

This was a really funny game and very satisfying once you solved the level!

You definitely put the hardest level first! The remaining levels were a lot clearer, I think because both guys kind of looks like they're both dead in level 1, so I wasn't sure if I was reconstructing what already HAD happened, or if I was finding a scenario for something that WILL happen. I think the remaining levels took less than half the time that I spent on level one.

In level 1, finding a sequence of 3 objects out of 7 options gives 35 combinations. In contrast, levels 2 and 3 required a sequence of 3 objects out of 4 options, which is only 4 unique combinations. I think playing levels 3->2->1->4 would have made it a lot easier for me to understand what to look for, and they're reasonable to brute force if you get stuck.

The idea of a hidden object + sequence puzzle game has a lot of potential, and it was satisfying watching the animations play out. With a bit of polish and some small QoL adjustments (little animations, more environmental interactions) it could be a great casual puzzle game.

Developer

Thanks for this big feadback, I think I will probably remake the game.

Funny game, love the scenes that play out

Just some things were hard to spot to be interactable like the cup in level 1, or the hose in level 2

I love your take on the theme, having the player actually find what could go wrong! Each level was fun to play! I love the silliness that the voice acting and the absurd events adds to the game! The sound effects could've been balanced more evenly in terms of volume (the explosion sfx was super loud compared to everything else). But other than that, I have a great time playing! Good job!

Interesting concept and lots of sprites and levels! As for me, it was difficult to find a combination that completed the level, so I suggest you change the approach to levels. Maybe make them like classic quests... Also you can add different endings or make all levels a story about some character, because currently it is random (still funny) levels, but I have no feeling of unite of the theme... Anyway, good job!

The idea is very good, but it was also very hard, I've been struggling with each level for a long time. But i like the music and visuals, so good job!

I liked the idea, but it was pretty tough. It was fun, but I think it could be even better if there were some subtle hints to show whether we’re on the right track. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I think I should add some where that there is a YT video on the game page with the playthrough!

Very cool game! I've seen it on live stream so I know the answers but watching it was cool :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you like it, I will go to rate your game to, cuz I forgot!

I love the concept of the game! One thing to look out for is the clarity for the players. Not everyone will be able to know what to click or do when they start out. But I have to admit, with only one week time and one dev, this is amazing!

The idea is good but like the other said its too difficult to have the good sequence, i play during 20 minutes on the different level and i don’t pass any of the levels. The coucils i have are to reduce the difficulty :

  • Surround the clickable object
  • Change the color if we select a good object(green for good place, orange for good object but bad place , and red for a object not in the sequence), because here i don’t know if the object i select are good and neither if i can put it multiple times.
  • Add a joker object who can show a object in the sequence?
Developer

Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I am sad that you couldn’t complete the levels.

Idea is really clever, but I concur with a lot of the other comments here. And fundamentally I ended up clicking around randomly on the screen waiting for something to happen

Developer

You right. I think there needs to be more posibilities with all the objects you can click on! And there should be just objects that will be used in that scene!

Very fun game! But it would be good if selectable elements would be somehow indicated. Also explosion on gas station is too loud. And make that player can't choose the same object more than once.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! It’s an explosion, should be loud.

Submitted

But not that much :) I almost got deaf. It's just a game.

Developer

Ok then,

cool idea, main suggestions are just to indicate the items a little more clearly, especially since assets were reused so much. a lot of the objects looked "selectable" but weren't. I like the idea that simple player input that leads to a lot happening in reaction to it though, and i was surprised that there were pretty elaborate scenes after the combinations were found. thanks for entering!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback. Maybe I will make this game something one day. P.S you don’t want to see the code ::)

No idea on what the correct combinations could be here.  Idea is interesting, but seems like one needs to simply read the mind of the developer.

Developer

You are right, I think I added to much things from which you can choose from! Thanks for playing, anyway!

Submitted(+1)

Got one of the puzzles, but maybe just making the items more distinct would help (e.g. right now with multiple people in the scene, even if you guessed the correct "scenario", you'd have to try every possible variant of  who was involved...)

Developer

Can I ask which of the levels it is that you completed? Thanks that you still played! That means the game idea was good!

I solved the painting puzzle.  I like the idea of constructing crazy disaster scenarios!  But for example in first puzzle, there are some obvious disasters awaiting with drunks, vodka, candle, and wooden table, but I couldn't figure out what the right combo would be...

(+2)

yeah that was frustrating, they were sort of these obvious scenarios where things could go wrong, but it was difficult to figure out the order that the actions were supposed to go in. maybe itd help to add more than one correct solution, or to pass the player even if it was the right subjects in the wrong order. i got the shopping mall and the painting though

Developer

It is something using the window, that is why there is a wind noise!
