Ah I wanted to do a doughnut sooooo badly!

The controls are harder than I expected, and it could be improved :) For 7 days it is hard to get things right! You can for sure improve it when the jam is over :) Add more effects, and make it fun to play :D

Keep working hard and well done 🚀

Had fun just pressing the paddle. The car is a bit hard to control but nice idea. The art is also good

Please play and rate my game as well, thanks!

Thank you very much.   We really appreciate the feedback on the car controls.  Thank you, it was my first time making assets, I am super excited about it.  Looking at your game now. :)

I think it was an interesting concept.

There are a few small tweaks that would have made it better, mostly around audio, steering control and consequences.

I feel like there should be more consequences for the power running out, and the steering was very difficult - Might be better to make it so that the car steers by smaller amounts from key presses.

Finally the audio seemed to stop looping once you were out of the city.

Thank you, as our first game and first jam, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

If we decide to take this game further, our plans include a 1-extra-life setup if the vehicle is destroyed as well as upgrade options. Running out of power would then use the 'towed home' mechanic.

Steering was intended to be more challenging at faster speed, but fine-tuning that aspect is certainly also on the todo list.

Loading the background music came so late in the process that we were unable to properly test it.

Thanks again for sharing your experience.

I think this game was fantastic as a first game, and the "towed home" mechanic sounds like a great idea
