Game title: Into the White Abyss
Ok, jokes aside, story and narration is nice, just a bit confusing on what player should do because of their stupid actions hahahaha. This type of game is a bit hard to manage or control because there's too much freedom and player will always do stupid things or try their best to break the game hahahahaha

It's one of those antichamber games isn't it. Not too sure where the game ends, but my playthrough is a bit buggy, The first time I played, I spawned outside the red light green light area, and the second time the game was stuck after entering the light after the box and button session. Is there anything after that? For the game itself, I do like how you presented the game. The voice acting makes the game much better and interesting than many of its counterparts. Nice job!
I've read in the comments/description that there should be an option to show subtitles, but I just can't find that, nor the pause menu on web builds. I would really want to know what the narrator is talking about, but it's quite hard currently due to the unstable mastering the game currently has. Besides that, there isn't much to talk about. And I'd say the game is pretty well-made! Nice job!
Hello! Sorry ya got stuck outside the map :sob: I'm currently working on debugging that area (I lowkey put my area3d a lil too high :skull:), adding a ending other than the fruit / game quit, and quality of life stuffs (like a pause menu, audio sliders/better audio mastering, and subtitles) for after the jam :3 Thanks for the feedback and playing I really appreciate it!
This game is more hilarious than scary! I think you did a great job. The narration was funny and really added a lot to the game. Great submission!
Bro, dude, you are literally me frfr no cap on chizzy dude. This game was also peak, and your voicing acting made it so much fun, lowkey i fucking love this. 11/10 (1 more for fucking awesome)
That was actually really nice, i enjoyed it! It was real surreal experience. I also find it funny that you could move by changing the volume, once i accidentally changed the volume during red light xD
I like this game is very well made. I played it 2 times because I thought the game crushed at the ending! The art is good, the sfx and music are good too. sugg: Make the eye from that room to follow your movement!
That is quite the labyrinth. Got a bit disoriented there a few times - especially when trying to find those boxes / find my way back to the switches. The audio recordings were a nice immersion strategy, and the lighting was especially impressive.
I really enjoyed the voice acting and audio, although I was definitely waiting for a horror scene on the box level.
Great work, keen to see more of it
Let me preface this by saying I get it, it’s hard to do a horror game right in the span of 7 days.
And indeed you did.
Instead of going “haha jumpscare go brrr”, you actually made an effort to induce some form of fear or anxiety that lasts more than one second at a time. That’s what counts to make a good horror game.
Red Light, Green Light felt a little slow because more than half the time was spent awaiting the change back to green.
Boxes could get stuck behind walls while you were holding them, but there are a bunch of “bugs” so I don’t mind it too much.
If anything I’d like to see a few more “props”, fleshing out the content in the game.
The graphics were pretty good, but the voice acting and audio is what sealed it as great.
I really liked the interpretation of the theme here.
It's an interesting approach to the theme, I like it. But I missed the visual effects a bit. I would also like to see subtitles to better understand what the main character is talking about. But it's a very interesting concept and idea for the game.
Fun game! I liked the puzzle aspects of it and just the overall mood and lighting. It did feel like something sinister was going on. I was getting pretty into it so when it ended walking towards the white light I was a bit bummed out haha, nice job on this!
Wow, the voice made it for me, it was as scary and funny, strange feel
Well done! I have found a small bug after playing for a while. When changing scene in the logs, it says:
TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'GodotAudio.ctx.currentTime')
And another one that got me stuck at the beginning when looking at the eye, if I walk too fast behind it while exploring. I could not move.

Those are minor things, expected for 7 days, but I enjoyed it! The audio narration was nice, maybe preventing it from overlapping when going too fast would be easier to digest, as sometimes the narrator would speak over themselves.
Besides that, Kudos! I reviewed! :) Keep working on it, and let me know what you think of my game too! :D
I appreciate the effort put into having a voiceover throughout the game. Well done spooky atmosphere. It was kinda funny that the voiceover guy was confused about the things happening in his game.
Took me a while to figure out what the red light / green light section was all about but it was really satisfying to figure out!
Excellent work. You had an excellent command over the atmosphere. I really liked the visuals and the audio was especially good (except the voice acting oh my goodness LOL). Great job. Keep up the good work :)
