Although short i enjoyed my time playing this, with some more polish such as adding sounds it would've made it a more pleasant experience.
One thing i liked that could be used for some clever level design was the fact that when shooting it pushed the player towards the opposite way which made it useful to make higher jumps!
Congrats on the project!
Such an interesting concept! I had a few issues with the UI scaling were things were overlaping but it was mostly(?) fixed resizing the game window. I also had some trouble moving the dealers, from what i got i had to click on them but it seemed that they would change direction randomly as i clicked, not sure if that had to do with the scaling :S
Besides all of that the concept was really easy to understand and get into! Good job! It's really fun!
Glad you liked the visuals! We are by no means modelers but this jam we wanted to give it a go and try to model everything on our own (which was quite the undertaking and we ended up with no time to model the kitchen).
Yeah it lacked a proper tutorial or more visual hints as to where and what the player needed to do! Something that surely should be improved!
Thanks!
I'm sorry to hear that it didn't meet your expectations. First thing the game shows when you 1st load it is a very basic tutorial perhaps you missed it or it didn't show :l
There's definitely SFX in there, sure it could use some optimization but we tried it on a 8 years old laptop with an iGPU and it ran pretty well.
Yeah we ran out of time to model the kitchen so we left it as it is xD
Cheers!
What a great platformer! The artstyle is awesome! I love the fact that the fly has a hat 🤠
Found a bug, not sure if this area was supposed to have something on the other side or a colission but you can pass through it and fall to the void! ( On the 1st level right after you drop a button on a bowl and keep going right)
Besides that great job!
Wow this one was really addictive, couldn't stop until i beat it!
My Space Program took 40 rocket launches, launched 1 monkeys, and only cost $1,593,849,999 dollars!
Might've wasted a ton of $$$ but only 1 monkey was sacrificed (^^ゞ.
Only thing i would've changed is that the bars should show which component they belong to instead of having to select the component and see which bar is highlighted. Also not sure if i missed it, but would've loved to be able to drag the camera around in order to better plan my trajectory!
Great job!
