How does the game fit the theme?
In order to implement the "nothing can go wrong" theme we decided to make a waiter simulator were as the time goes on the customers mood change and world events influence the outcome of the level.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was made from scratch! We're very proud of what we were able to accomplish!
How many people worked on the game?2

Very fun game, it got chaotic pretty fast! It took me some time to realize what to do with the orders.
I read the tutorial (but I can't full screen so it's very difficult to read!) but cookies came out only once, and I had 3 guys waiting for cookies - couldn't get any more to come! Or were they supposed to share? lol
Sorry to hear. Full screen worked fine for us on the web version, and desktop version is also opening full screen by default. Also, from our testing we did not had issues with wrong orders, is it possible that not all tickets were submitted, or that you didn't wait long enough for the cooking? Cheers!
The first day is always the easiest... day 2 my power went out and everyone wanted Bacon and Eggs... Glad I'm not in the food industry! Great job!
Nice game!
At first i didn’t find the kitchen xD, some deko there would have been nice.
But referencing your text above, you can be proud of yourself!
Pretty cool! I love restaurant-management games and this is well executed. Kept waiting for a twist but alas, nothing goes wrong!
Awesome visuals and smooth animations. Was a lit difficult to understand in the beginning but got the hang of it eventually!
Glad you liked the visuals! We are by no means modelers but this jam we wanted to give it a go and try to model everything on our own (which was quite the undertaking and we ended up with no time to model the kitchen).
Yeah it lacked a proper tutorial or more visual hints as to where and what the player needed to do! Something that surely should be improved!
Thanks!
Review :
The music is good, but I just don't know how to play the game. The keys on the keyboard don’t work, there’s no kitchen, and the game doesn’t fit with the theme except if you have a lot of customers coming in. No sound effects, low graphics, and it still lags. Dude, I really tried to find something, but even the UI works, it’s just a bit classic. Maybe the characters that are highlighted when you hover the mouse over them is a good touch. 👍
All for me, if you want to check my game, you can 👍
I'm sorry to hear that it didn't meet your expectations. First thing the game shows when you 1st load it is a very basic tutorial perhaps you missed it or it didn't show :l
There's definitely SFX in there, sure it could use some optimization but we tried it on a 8 years old laptop with an iGPU and it ran pretty well.
Yeah we ran out of time to model the kitchen so we left it as it is xD
Cheers!
Cool concept, there was way too much people at level 3.
But overall it's a cool game !
Neat concept, gets stressful fast! Liked the extra hassle of having to deal with the power going out and stuff.
I like concept but sometimes order cannot be delivered or it's delivered after some time
Hey there for some reason I can't deliver the customers order or at least I don't know how. The outline doesn't appear when I walk to them like it does when taking the order.
Thought this was pretty cool! Got me stressed lol. Not sure if maybe this was just an issue on my side but sometimes the sensitivity seemed to jump really high and Id spin around really fast.
Great game, maybe the difficulty is too stiff at the starting levels
The start lacks explanation, but once you get into it, it's really engaging. Good game!
The controls were a bit hard to wrap my head around at first, but once I got it I enjoyed the groove of serving the customers. One guy just ordered a ton of pudding though, his poor stomach.
