The music brings the game alive for me, good direct usage of the limitation. Good job for your first game jam!

Nice game, we had a similar idea except my team did an ice cream shop. I think you could potentially do something with progression to make it a little less repetitive after a bit.

This is a very polished experience! I loved creating my shrimp despite watching it get stripped. Very fun experience. 3729m was the end score. Good job on this!

Never used Tinder in a day of my life, and this experience gave me a first-hand impression of how it's done. Bravo job! Awesome artwork too!

You nailed a game loop here! It feels satisfying, and you really get that game feel with that built-up pressure with the QTE bar. You did great for your first entry here!

I like the world you have built here. This seems like a more exploration game that I can vibe with.

The polish here is incredible, animations are smooth, and bartending seems fun overall. I wasn't really sure how to progress with the story past that until I dragged the tray to what appears to be the door, shaking behind the drinks.

Nice 3D settings here, crabs look really good! Mouse sensitivity is a bit high, but WebGL is known for these issues. Nice entry!

Good cozy game here, I am incredibly impressed with the 2.5D aspect. The exploration with the progression really made it stand out here. The music transition was a was also a cherry on top. Good job here!

Cool game, really enjoyed the exploration.

Not too cozy with the way I was trying to take out majority of the rats lol. This game is great and different take on the theme here. The main gameplay felt good to play, even busted out my controller for it. I was able to understand the hit distance from the projectile attacks to the hit box from the bites. I also got stuck on the projectile reflection part, I couldn't position myself in spot here the projectile could reflect back and hit the bee.

Nice practice project here, cool walking animation, hope you find a direction for this game at some point.

Nice game here, I like growing my own fruits while making money. I did run out of jars, but nevertheless a nice cozy game here.

(1 edit)

The aesthetics and art (especially for the art) are very nice, and the world seems very exploratory. I would probably mention that his game requires a controller since my keyboard controls weren't working. I would say I had trouble really understanding what the gameplay was supposed to be beyond walking around. Clean work here overall.

UPDATE: Ok, I played the working version lol, good additional song and again good on the exploratory part, the world EASILY stands out.

Uh, I think I downloaded the entire Unity project, but besides that seems like the project is not in a polished state to give a proper review. Really good art thou!

Hi everyone! Kene here!

I am a game designer and programmer with 3+ years of work experience. I am looking to join a team of passionate and cool folks again. I am skilled in both Unity and Unreal Engine 5, and in scripting in C#, C++, and Blueprints. I do hope to work in Unreal Engine this time around for the Jam.

For background, I intend to focus on systems, game AI, or custom tools. But I am quite versatile based on the project or what designers need, whether in 2D or 3D.

If any team needs an extra hand, dm me.

(I am EST time, but I've worked with folks in other time zones!)

Check out my previous work!

Good job on the entry here! I had no idea what was happening but the audio and guidance just kept me going due to curiosity alone! Red/green light was a fun minigame experience.

Nice puzzle game, I like the simplicity of the mechanics outside of having to restart the ENTIRE level! I like the foundation here.

Good visuals and pixel art. The game world did feel very bland, I understand the RPG approach, however. I think it just needed more content to help bring the enjoyment out the story. Very cool concept thou!

Awesome visuals and smooth animations. Was a lit difficult to understand in the beginning but got the hang of it eventually!

This one was incredibly fun to play, I am a sucker for 2D in 3D spaces as it creates interesting moment-to-moment gameplay. Game feel is the big highlight for me here so awesome entry!

I like tower defense games, they are pretty cool.

This was fun, really fun. I liked how you incorporated the theme with the rewards at the end of each level. I ended up surviving for 5:36 minutes but the amount of levels and content you have here is great. Awesome job with this!

The game runs well and I can restart quickly so despite the lack of UI for restarting, I was able to oversee that but I couldn't get past the first truck with the red barrels. Besides that, you have nice visuals here, nice VFX, and the aiming is smooth. Continue to update it as this has great potential!

Incredible visuals here! I like the upgrade system which kept me coming back. Good entry here!

Wasn't too sure what was happening, I was pretty much running into the colored bullets (I assume) just for the fun till the game over screen hit. Fun visuals, however, I think some proper guidance can help the players understand the goal of the project. Good start!

This is quite a simple game with awesome visuals and fun bullet patterns, the transitions are so smooth to the point where I played for about 5 minutes and reached a record of 20.7 seconds of survival. Good job here!

I got lost at first then I realized that I could move with the correct key that was displayed in the game. I believe that there should be some guidance for players at the start before starting but this take was an interesting one, hopefully you continue to flesh it out.

Nice entry, however, I did have a hard time trying to understand what was happening, felt like I was just shooting a bunch of words around the scene. The visual and narrative are the highlight of this project as it was pleasing to look at. Pretty much more guidance with goals and mechanics is the the only nitpick but besides that nice job here!

The mechanics here are incredibly polished. I was very impressed by how the WebGL build runs alone. You have a good game concept here and I hope it's expanded on!

With a game like this, I would've already thought this was a demo to a fully released Steam Version. The movement and sound of VFX are incredible here man! Awesome job, I highly hope you continue to work on this!

Incredible main menu design, it takes me back to the retro console days. The visuals are really good but I can easily get blinded by the bullets (if this is the intention: good job!) . The procedural levels are the icing on the cake and add replayability. Good entry here!

Nice entry! I was surprised that my health can regenerate on enemy hits. This adds a fun strategic element to the game!

The animations are incredibly silk-smooth and the boss is beautifully executed. Continue working on the gameplay mechanics here! Overall nice entry!

Good start here! Didn't understand what I was doing but reading the amount of work and experience yall had made this an expandable game. So keep at it! The sound was good!

Uh-oh, it looks like there is an accident incorrect scene link with the build as it is currently unplayable. So, I am not gonna rate it until there is an updated build. But judging by the screenshots, looks like there is some awesome content yet to be discovered.  Hope to play this soon!

Cool game! I do recommend switching the fire button from space to left click as in most bullet hells. I would also recommend tweaking the enemy health a bit so that the smaller ones don't take too long to destroy as that effort should be placed on bosses (in my opinion).

At the start, I thought it was just a basic bullet dodging hell until it progressed into a FURY of bullets and different areas. Games that forced me into a "get good" mindset are extremely fun and that is what this entry has achieved for me along with the visuals and sounds. Awesome job here!

Nice entry! I thought the initial idea was to deflect all the toothpicks from hitting these dishes which led me to die a couple of times before revisiting the opening scene to read the controls. The health bars are a good visual since they kept me updated on my progress.

Awesome entry! The difficulty score system is a key factor in the replayability here, the visuals are great. (Difficulty score was 191.6%, achieved by finding a corner to make dodging easier lol)
