Exactly, I think that's what using free assets is good for: as a starting point! This is a really promising first jam game, I'm exited to see what games you'll make next 😁

Wow! This game is incredible! All the character designs and UI sprites are beautiful and the minigames are super fun! I would've liked an option to practise a minigame before actually competing. I would also say that you stretched the theme quite a lot but really there's nothing else I can fault you on. Congratulations on making an amazing game jam game!
P.S 5th on the leader board off of my first run 😎
I love how chill this game is! My only complaint would be that the VFX over the screen are a little too strong. I also think that it would be nice to have the gameplay evolve a bit over time, maybe like a shop where you can buy upgrades to do things like make the player faster, for example.
Ultimately this game is pretty neat! Keep up the good work!
There's a really great idea behind this game and I think with a bit more time and polish this could be a really great full game. I think my only suggestions would be making the final count faster and maybe making the game a bit easier. Also I think the mountain tile is bugged as it wasn't unlocking the tiles around it like the others do. But overall I would to see this game given a bit more time to be perfected. Well done and keep it up!
This game is really clever and the graphics are pretty charming too! I would've liked for the portals to be more visually clear maybe, I didn't really understand what was happening and the sound effect is a little obnoxious. But other than that, the level design is amazing, well done and keep it up!
This game is really neat! I've got quite a lot of feedback, but its because I think this game has a lot of potential! I think the plane controls very well and the animations on both the plane and the camera are really smooth even if the camera jitters too much when in gameplay. I also really like the voxel art style, I think I like the voxels so much I would've liked to see the water be voxel based so that it fits in better. Also I think the game isn't actually punishing enough, I think going underwater should definitely count as crashing rather than just letting you carry on.
Overall, I think if you tweaked some of these things and added some more islands this would genuinely be a fantastic game! I would love to see you come back to this project after the jam. Well done and keep it up!
P.S why does the happy cloud look so sad :(

The art in this game is really well done! It looks like a lospec palette demo in the best way possible! I was confused by the rules at first but it was pretty enjoyable once I got the hang of it. My only ask would be that the AI is better, I found it hard to lose. Overall though, well done on making a really cool jam game!
The art in this game is great! I love watching the slot machine spin even if its taking all my money. My only complaint would be that the turns get a bit stale with just the same attack, block repeat cycle after you use all your items, I think the player needs more to do during combat. Apart from that though, well done on making a cool game!
(P.S I assume you wanted to use a custom cursor like the one that appears when you hover over a button, I think you can set the cursor in the player settings to have it show up all the time!)
This game is really cool! I think my main bit of advice would be to adjust the pace of gameplay to be faster, especially for a jam game its really important to immediately grab the player's attention. But other than that your idea is pretty cool and with some ambient sounds, the environment could be really eerie. Well done!
For some reason it kicked me out while I was mid tutorial, I think its an issue with godot for web, not with your game though. I won't rate the game out of fairness but from what are saw, the graphics are really cute and there's a lot of personality in every aspect of the game. My only criticism would be that it isn't polished enough, but its understandable for a game made in a week, well done and I hope it actually lets me play soon :(.
(Update, I came back a few minutes later and it worked! The games really well laid out, but I did get a glitch where I died to an enemy in the boss win screen. Overall though I had a blast, well done on making a cool game!)
Wow! This is a really unique idea for a game jam and you guys executed it pretty well, congratulations! I will say, I found the walking to be too slow, I think the game would take a long time to beat just based on how long it takes to walk from one side to the other. But overall you guys had a great idea, well done!
I really like the atmosphere that the music and visuals create, its really unique! Its just a shame you didn't get to fully realise your idea. I didn't really get what I was doing and I think I saw a burger at one point? Besides that, it would great to see this project get a bit more time put into it to fully realise the potential. Good job!
(P.S I think the issue that your having with Fullscreen is because your using the itch.io Fullscreen button and not the native unity one. You can just untick the box in the itch editor to remove their faulty button, hope this helps)
This games really cool! I like how fast paced it is but that 3rd level is a BIG jump up in difficulty, I couldn't find enough high value items to beat it? But overall the graphics and sound are great. Well Done!
(PS this isn't that important, but a sensitivity setting would have been appreciated as I thought it was naturally a bit high)
Making a Metroid Vania in a week is no easy feat but you guys did great! The art is very cute and the boss fight caught me off guard. Although I did get a bug where on returning to the arena the boss got stuck outside and I could easily shoot him through the wall. Other than that it was pretty clean and the movement felt good. Good job!
