What a nice experience.
I was pretty anxious running back and forth from the light to looking for things to clean up.
I really liked the visuals.
I was pretty surprised that nothing could actually go wrong since I did a second playthrough without turning any lights on.
Loved playing this game! The art and sound design were fantastic! I especially adored the little gato at the end (and the fact that he also appeared in the credits)!
Cute little game, i'm not sure if keeping the light off too long is a lose condition, but somehow i kept turning them on lol
The game was probably the deepest I've played so far. The theme was heavy but gave a little calm during the storm. Felt very relatable for those struggling with mental health. Would love to see more from this team
The art is really nice, the idea of going back to the lamp to turn it on reminded me of ocd a little bit, don't know if that was intentional or not but I thought it was cool. Short and sweet :)
Cute game about tough subject. I hated the lights switching off constantly but I think it fits the theme perfectly. I could see this game being expanded on further, please take it into consideration. Well done!
Nice game concept! Game turned out very atmoshperic and immersive. Only problems I had: text in the note is hard too read (because of scale issues I guess), and in your game page description you mention QWSD buttons, which is WASD actually.
The game has a good graphic, sound and ambient. I want to play it more. It's have some potential to be a full game on Steam. I'll wait for it.
What a great game that highlights a common mental illness a lot of us face. I thought the game was bugged at first because it was so dark, until I realized I could turn on the lamps. Chill and fun little game and the art is great, well done!
I enjoyed playing this. Nice pixelart, and an interesting scene to explore. Overall I think you've done a great job with this!
Some suggestions:
- The to-do list was very zoomed in, I think it would look better in the same scale as everyting else
- I would like to be able to press a button to interact with things instead of clicking on them (I'm playing on a mac with a trackpad, which makes left clicking on things a bit awkward in my opinion)
The game felt too zoomed in, and I wish there had been an explanation about being able to walk to and turn on the lamps. Short and sweet.
At first I couldn't see anything, and I accidently walked over to an object which caused a text bubble to appear. The UI text bubble was dark as well, so I thought the game may be messed up somehow. I then recognized that I was in a room and I figured out the lights. Then I realized I'm supposed to navigate the dark and not rely on the lights. It was a clunky experience. Usually in games with lights, being in the dark isn't the way to go, and since this wasn't that cliché usage of lightning, I think more of an explanation would be better. I was also concerned someone could play through the entire thing without realizing the lights even exist, which is why I said what I said.
It took me ages to realise I could turn on the lights haha! There's something oddly satisfying about doing mundane chores in video games. Nice work.
Great job of the game scene, good luck
Please play and rate my game as well, thanks!
Very chill game, the art of the character is so cute and nice!!! Items took a little to disapear which mad eme confused in the begining, but then was all good^^
I really liked the game, the only issue is the movement of the character would get stuck sometimes and I'd find it hard to move fast enough before the lights went off again, and maybe the to-do list could only come up when interacted with instead of whenever I pass by, It was a bit distracting. Aside from that I really liked the concept and graphics! Good job!
I liked discovering new things about the house whenever I was able to find the next light, and having to frantically look for all the items before having to turn the light back on. I think it would be interesting to see the character interact more with the dark, maybe becoming more anxious and stressed the longer you leave the light off and affecting how quickly you're able to collect the items.
