Had a fun time playing this game, in the end I put a lot of toilets around the rocket as a protection layer, it worked, but I got a lot of complaints.
This was cool! I like all the dialogue of the people it added a lot of personality to the game. It was fun building my ship and flying to the moon, tho some people may have gotten very sick along the way lol. Great work!
This was so much fun! I loved the dialogue. Can't wait for you guys to be featured on the next episode of Rennervations ;)
That was a great game! My favorite part was definitely firing my chief of engineering when he gave me bad advice. The gameplay was also fun in having to choose between a bigger ship for more money or a smaller one for more survivability! One thing I would suggest is an eraser tool for the ship creation because I accidentally placed the wrong pieces sometimes.
I loved that when there is a hole the other eggs will jump right at it.
Interesting idea and really cool drived. The top right texts are fun :D
Managed to win in the first try, probably by luck >.>
Really cool idea! It's original and very funny. I love all the commentary!
I think bankruptcy is in order. We'll leave the idea of space travel marinate for a few more years and try again.
It was really fun and my only complaint is that there is no erase button after placing a part wrong. Cool stuff!
I agree, an "undo" would be a good QoL addition for sure. Mistakes made for some funny ships in testing, though, so we didn't prioritise it!
Only 3 fatalities! The 'clippy' guy was great, very funny game.
Thanks! We had a blast writing it. Did you ever fire your clippy engineer? I was delighted to see what my team-mate had done the first time I fired them!
Nice game! the comments from the characters were great. Gameplay was good too, I liked having to trade off between a larger ship making more money but also being more likely to get hit by asteroids.
That was the hardest I laughed at a game in a while lol.
I really like the base concept. It's very much like you're building your ship and watching to see what happens. I think the novelty does wear off a bit when you play again. But for a game jam project, there's quite a lot there to experiment with.
I appreciated all the dialogue sprinkled throughout the game.
The audio could get a bit much sometimes. But all in all, I really enjoyed it and I could see the concept being extended out to include more missions and obstacles.
Thanks so much, I'm delighted to hear that. We had lots of fun making it. I can see your point re audio, there can be a lot of events firing at once. There's definitely lots more we'd love to have added had we time, perhaps we'll return to it :)
Thank you!
Yes, when we first scoped it out, we had other ideas for threats and missions, and wanted more in-ship gameplay, herding around the little influencers, but as you say it's a game jam, and there's only so much that will get made in the time.
I totally agree on the audio, I would like to have put in a queue with some maximum length to avoid overloading it. Another victim of deadlines!
Very thematic! Great job guys, I went through a few playthroughs to try out different ship designs. Wish there were more different components!
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed it! We had lots more ideas for more components but ran out of time :)
Super fun game! Love the gameplay cycle, really let me go ham after my first few ships. The tweets that showed up on the side were also v funny. Great job!
Amazing, thanks so much!
cool sarcastic phrases
Neat creative idea but it was hard for me to distinguish asteroids easily. Good work. Congrats.
Thanks so much, yes they do blend in with the void a bit.
This game is awesome!! I don't know why but there is just something about trying to build the spaceship in every possible way and be like "I wonder what happens now". Amazing job!
Very creative and fun game! Really liked the posts at the corner of the screen
In love with the engineer's comments and the FIRE button slowly fading in with each action, super fun flying around on the custom built ship too! 10/10 would build a dangerous space casino again.
Absolutely loved it! the social media posts were really funny, and the guinne pig(?) was a nice tough!
RIP me i guess!
I like this game a lot! Building the spaceship while trying to make it the best it can possibly be to get to the moon is very fun! I really like the status updates constantly posted by the passengers, it's a small thing but it really ties the whole experience together. The art is also very charming, it reminds me a bit of Factorio.
The social media concept is funny ;) And building a ship is fun! But i lost my ship after every trip, did I do something wrong? ;)
Glad you enjoyed it! You didn't do anything wrong, it's a one-way trip to the moon ;) You do get 'salvage' money back for how much of the ship was in tact, so if it arrived in one piece you should get plenty of money to rebuild it bigger and better.
