How does the game fit the theme?
It is a platformer game, but if you fall down an eagle will save you.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The short clip that is shown in the third challenge, the eagle sound effect, the gong sound effect and the Japanese temple 3d model was inspired by another model.

Pretty fun game! Good job!
Thanks!
This was really goofy in a fun way.
Too bad the LLM section didn't work right, I told him to get the dog.
Thanks. Yeah, couldn't get the LLM to work on the Web Build for some reason.
Good fun! I got plenty of time to bond with that eagle, let me tell you. Jumps were a bit janky, and hard to time, I felt like there wasn't any forward momentum from walking. Mini games were very cute.
Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Minigames where cool and the eagle kept throwing me off the map and then fat shaming me haha Good job on the game
Thanks a lot
Good job on the game, a little unpolished but the mini-games are a blast here. Cheers!
thank you for the comment
Maybe the real treasure was the bird we met along the way...
Good job, it was fun!
thanks, we are glad that you liked the bird, nice
Fun game! The jumping took some getting used to but I'm glad the eagle had my back.
Thanks a lot for playing!
Gameplay: the movement felt stiff. The platforming difficulty wasn't too bad, and I was hampered by the camera controls. One time I fell and eagle started teleporting around me and couldn't actually grip me for a solid 10 seconds. Ended up passing through the floor before then. Lol. Memory game happened to be to the tune of song I knew for the first 6 notes AND I have good memory.
AudioVisual: this game looks quite good for a 3D game done in a jam, a bit of a quirk where the wings extended very far into Eagle's body and platforms were visibly copypasted. Sound on memory game was very nice, sound on Eagle felt a bit random (and was the only audio that played most of the time). Unfortunately the call you used actually belongs to the red tailed hawk.
innovation/theme: the game was quite creative in the core mechanic and I say it directly fit the theme very well. Bit of lacking innovation since everything experienced in the game can also be experienced in multiple other scenarios.
Overall, I liked it. Was fun having a judgemental eagle save my life over and over because I can't handle a canyon.
Thank you very much. We know the eagle feature can be buggy sometimes, but we're working on an improved version. When we downloaded the sound of the eagle it was titled "eagle sound" on the website but thanks for pointing it out. Sadly for some reason when you get 10/10 on the memory game the music doesn't turn back on.
Well that monk really has a patience of steel to face all these challenges !
The game was really buggy for me. The eagle kept throwing me everywhere and anywhere but on the platforms. It even carried me all the way to absolutely nowhere once and kept going x). It also had a tendency to pick me up even though I was still on the platform and not falling.
The control is really hard to master : having no left or right key and having to do everything with the mouse is just frustrating and infuriating, especially for the parkour. The jump was also not feeling great. Maybe adding more air control and some kind of coyote jump could help ?
You also don't support any keyboard other than QWERTY, which is so easy to do in Unity: just pick "physical key" and you're set !
The eagle mechanic was quite funny. The game did not really fit with the theme for me however : every single jump went as bad as it could be with my poor platforming skill x)
Thank for the feedback, were planning on making an improved version of the game.
The graphics of the game are great! the player jumping was a bit hard to get through but eagle was there for help!
Thank you for your feedback!
Haha, great job with the theme! The eagle was a lifesaver because 'parkour really isn't your thing,' lol.
Thanks a lot!
I do wish the parkour was a bit better but other then that, I think it is a cool game with a cool idea!
Thank you for your feedback.
Damn, I have no patience or calm haha. The jumps are really difficult, would be good to be able to move left and right to reposition, but it's nice to have the eagle's help and the comments are great
thank you for the comment. Yeah the jumps are a bit janky and having the left and right movement would be a good addition.
It's good to have an eagle as friend. Concept about a monk going thru different tasks was very well made. Art style was great, but a bit eclectic. I loved the look of the character. Overall, great job!
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
Cool concept, I liked how you fit it to the game jam theme. The eagle's snarky comments every time I fell off were very entertaining. I don't know if I was missing something, but I had a very hard time jumping from pillar to pillar so I made the eagle very upset.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. When jumping from pillar to pillar, did you run using the shift-key? Because you need a little momentum to jump far enough.
