Thank you for your comment and for playing so attentively, you're the first to mention the bug!

The game definitely has its limits. I wanted to keep the message simple and accessible considering the genre of the game. The goal was to use clicker game mechanics to show the "inhumanity" of a billionaire's fortune. I agree that charities are only a small band-aid on a broken system, but I believe it is still possible to show cracks in it from within, it helps people understand those concepts since they live in it and the charity pov justifies turning that amount of money into more graspable goods. Of course we would not need certain charities if there were basic income, free education and free healthcare, etc.

Games often offer exaggerated "god views" especially for resources management, so I doubt many players think of themselves/charity founder as "superhuman", but more in terms of agency and possible actions (realistic or not).

I did actually consider adding time and still think about it since a few people mentioned it, but it requires some design changes (and time ha!) so we'll see. I will definitely post an updated version after the jam, but mainly to balance the intesive clicking.

Wow, this is amazing! Well done!

oops, you're right, I'll update the text

Oh I hate Linkedin so much, this is great!

Great zine, well structured and sensibly phrased! There was an initiative to introduce BI here in Switzerland about 10y ago, but it was rejected by the majority... I hope people's mind will change and live to see at least one country somewhere actually do it.

Good job on the writing! Loved the effect on the text to make you interpret it differently! I thought it was funny and sadly a bit too realistic :/

Paying rent is hard x.x

Nicely done! Indeed there is no sustainable capitalism and the game mechanics show it. Also really liked reading your thoughts in the description

Well done!
Also took me a few tries to understand the mechanics, but once I got it I enjoyed the different levels.
The style really catches the horror of the situation and it felt good to destroy those greedy bastards in game!

So fucking much...

So wholesome, love it!

Very wholesome, nice game! The black and white style is a little odd for a cooking game though, colors play a big part in tasting

So chaotic, but so fun, well done!

Took me a few tries but managed to brew at least one potion

I really thought nothing would go wrong if I cut that wire, really interesting mechanic, well done!

I feel like the God is judging my every move, cool puzzles though!

The VA really brings the game to life! Nice job!

Heartattack.exe

Ah never thought about that, thanks for the feedback!

Hi, cute game! I think it would be great to start with less ingredients this could also help decrease the amount of information at the beginning, otherwise gnothing wrong here!

This is great! Love the chill vibes, didn't think it could be so fun to put stickers on things! The snapping was a bit annoying but I still enjoyed it

Damn, I have no patience or calm haha. The jumps are really difficult, would be good to be able to move left and right to reposition, but it's nice to have the eagle's help and the comments are great

Yea I was actually thinking of doing something with the flowers/petals or something with the number of jumps, but I didn't get to it. Thanks for playing!

I guess most people on itch play on computer, but I wanted to try something else for a change. I tried to get a "heavy landing" feeling to the sound so it's probably a bit intense, thank you for the feedback and for playing!

Nice, it's easy to understand and the puzzles are fun! Could be a little bit faster imo, but good job!

Cool game! I really like the concept and climbing up the tree feels so satisfying! I keep pressing space to jump as a reflex ^^. Just that sometimes it can be tricky to pick up the items even if you're within reach.

Cool mini-games, very original! The rhythm game would need better sync and more feedback to feel good, but it was still enjoyable. I had fun painting the bird into a pigeon at the end:

Lovely game! Really chill vibes! I enjoy making cute drinks, but I think the decorations are a bit too expensive :(
