My game is still set in a haunted house where you are trying to evict unwanted guests, but it isn't a horror game. I am going more for the vibe of 'spooky' rather then outright scary, and the tone is very light. Is this okay? or does it have to be a horror game?

I think the mechanic does need some tweaking as the wisps protected me from projectiles I wanted to go near, making them feel a tad pointless. Maybe if there were things to shoot the wisps at? I realize that might be a bit of a big ask to add enemies like that though. I do love the idea of the main mechanic though, it has a ton of potential! I also loved the visuals and audio!
Fun game! I enjoyed dodging around and completing levels! The hitboxes did feel a little inconsistent at times though. I also encountered a bug where I died at the same time I completed a level which locked me at the beginning of the level without being able to move. The animations of the guy was very silly and made me laugh. This was a good time all around.
This is a great concept, but the grappling is really slow when reeling it in or out and I had a hard time knowing when to launch the hook. That is my main and really only gripe though. Speed up the reeling and give an indicator for how fast the hook will launch and my problems with the game are solved! The visuals are great!
