A nice concept however the game did feel still a bit confusing. Also sometimes it just outright crashed, But the visuals were decent. Not too bad!

Developer(+1)

Huh, nobody has complained about crashing so far. We will work on it being more clear with the instructions!

Submitted(+1)

Yeah it weirdly happened when i first started the game, i clicked on the summoning circle and it just kinda crashed lol

Developer

Well, for the first time (in the fixed build), something did go wrong...

Cool concept, but kinda difficult to play alone. I liked the music, really fitting.

Developer

First to say the music fits! Also, most people find it easier to play alone since there is no place for communication error. Glad you liked it!

Cool concept, art and sounds greatly building atmosphere, probably would be better to play with someone....

Still, good job!

Interesting idea! I really enjoyed this game! Great job!

Very cool game! i love the concept, reminds me of keep talking and nobody explodes. im sure i wouldve had more fun playing it with a friend, or my gf i think she wouldve liked that lmaomaybe ill try it again with her 😅

I genuinely loved your idea, well done!

Hello! I just tried your game and I’m truly impressed. I loved the combination of puzzles and gameplay with a external files to resolve the puzzle (it's better with two players), it really enhances the experience. I didn’t encounter any bugs, and the game reminded me of "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes," which made it even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was fantastic! Great job!

Nice idea. I didn't have someone in the room locally with the instructions so it didn't get the same level of frantic panic you get from "keep talking", but I would love to try it that way.

Developer

There is no timer also, so no rush. But we will add timer for sure!

Submitted(+2)

Wow this was really an incredibly well put together game! The Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes genre is very unexplored and I feel that you did a great job at capturing what makes that game great! I can see this game expanding in the future to include more puzzles and maybe a timer! Great job!

The game amazed me in a variety of ways. The depth of the puzzles and the effort it took to design them is quite impressive, criminally underrated; just wish more people play it!

10 ratings including me??????? FOR A KTANE GAME???????

This is possibly the most underrated game in the whole entire jam. Just phoned up a good friend of mine to read the manual for me and gave it a go - absolutely loved every minute of it!

I think the one thing it's missing is a timer of sorts, something to really stress you out - right now it's a very very chill game, I just sorta sat around and waited for my friend to finish reading it all, haha. And of course, more puzzle variations - but you really can't ask for anything more than you already did for a ONE WEEK long jam!

It's incredibly impressive as is, and I really hope you get some more exposure! Good luck, and amazing job once again!

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed! Yeah, we would have had a timer if I did not fuck it up last minute somehow... In future we will for sure have more variations of puzzles!

Submitted(+1)

Aw, shit happens man it's all good! Totally understandable haha as I said it's impressive enough as is!

Good luck with future progress!! :D

Thank you! Will make sure to check out your game some time soon!

Very cool art!

Really cool game! I don't think I've ever seen a keep talking and nobody explodes style game in a jam before! I think the 3 different puzzles were cool and I could see this being a lot of fun to play the intended way with someone else reading the instructions. I like the art style a lot too. Great work on the game!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!

Very cool concept and really enjoyed playing this with my partner. Was great to see a co-op communication in the jam, as these games are rare!

We did find it pretty tricky though. Found it very hard to figure out the pentagram, and died many times before accidentally brute forcing it. The other puzzles were much better for us, and we managed to figure them out!

Great concept!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed! Yeah, the pentagram was not well explained, we will work on that. It will probably change a bit in functionality too.

I try my best but i did not manage to understand the instruction. For the pentagram for instance, There is no way to draw a line. Sometimes I only have yellow sign, so nowhere to start. I sure there is a logic, but that's not the one I understood. For the furniture there is row of 6 ingredients, but the list we must match with contains only 4. And for the words, I try to follow what I understand and find no word matching in the last column.
I suppose your inspiration is coop asymmetric  game like keep talking and nobody explodes. And I did not see it before.

Developer

Yeah, so the pentagram was unfortunate to not have a great explanation due to negligence. I would say the one with ingredients is quite well explained, maybe read i again. And the word puzzle if you played the non fixed version, yes, the last column does not work properly.

Developer

Still will try to make the ingredient one more clear!

As the other comment said, the instructions are very confusing. But the idea for the game is so cool that I can see it evolving into a commercial game 👍

Submitted(+1)

I like the idea. But in execution the instrutctions are very hard to understand even for the person reading them.

Also as soon as i started the game my pc's fan started screaming at me and the cpu usage spiked.
