Glad you enjoyed! Will work on more impactful upgrades like area upgrades!

Took some time to make it feel better, but still didn't perfect the balancing of range and stuff. And yeah, I also think our game is the first game I played as a honey badger.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!

So what was I supposed to do to progress?

Glad you enjoyed. Yeah, bullet heavens are addictive indeed.

Glad you enjoyed it! First time using it for 2d and it was a rough start, but it was surprisingly intuitive. Maybe it is better for hybrids though.

Played it finally and outside of it getting a little repetitive the game is great!

Played, rated and left feedback on your game, hope you do the same!

Considering it is your first game and you are only 11 there is not much more to ask for really! The game obviously has problems, but most of them are game design and level design I would say (or random stuff unity does for no reason and you kinda have to know how to get around for it to work properly). And this is pretty much a matter of time to learn how to do and maybe watch some documentaries on the subject. The fact you are putting your effort into something you enjoy and it is functioning is great! That is everyone's first step and you have done your really early on.

Thank you! Upgrades are accidentally effective, because the "balancing" was done in about 5 minutes! And yeah, it is asylum, so it is small, though smaller then initially planned.

Will check your game at some point if you leave a comment with feedback!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback!

Rated and commented! I hope you can check our game too sometime!

I did not expect to have so much fun when I read the description, but boy was that fun! I think it is missing something novel in phase 1, something a little more. Still amazing game, got a big score too I think! A little over 9900! Pity I didn't get to 10000. What you need is a leaderboard and you are set!

Glad you liked the art. Theme is not very prominent indeed. We kinda wanted to convey the mental state of the main character getting worse as you level up and getting stormed by the illnesses, but at the end time did not allow to make it apparent. So the theme is more conveyed through the swarm of enemies getting bigger and bigger.

Loved the game! Main thing to complain about is time, but it is a problem mostly because of the one item slot. But yet again the idea of being able to carry only one thing is intriguing, it makes you think what you need items for and where to put them so you can save time when you need to go get them back!

Glad you liked it!

Yeah, we cut a lot, but that in a way is good, because now we have ideas as to what to add post game jam on top of the feedback!

Will check it out some time tomorrow! Here is ours! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973782

Played your game! We would appreciate if you play ours!

Cute little game! The driving is fine, concept is simple and fun! Only thing I kinda do not like really is you can miss throwing the sandwich, not sure how to fix it while still being a mechanic. I like the idea of throwing the sandwiches.

yeah fair, just spouting what I feel is missing so you can work on it if you decide to continue developing the game

You died, the game has no win condition, time got the better of us unfortunately. The coins are actually suppose to be pills, but they indeed look more like coins!

Played the game, rated and commented! Hope you can take time to look at our game!

Holy shit this last section was so excruciatingly hard! It took time to get used to the wind, but once I did it was fun!

Man is this a good game! Maybe work a little on the driving part, it feels clunky and unresponsive to control the car, but besides that the game is a lot of fun! So impressive how much you've put in the game for such a short time!

I think the controls are weird. Why would I need a second person if I can only control one at a time, and why does he stop when I click on a fence? Also no explanation as to what to do and how things work. It can be a nice game if you work on the controls and the tutorial!

It's a game jam, not everything goes to plan. Hope the feedback helps you polish the game. This is one of the few games I will probably follow after the game jam to see how it evolves!

Turns out I already played your game and left a comment! Hope you do the same if you haven't already!

Rated your game and loved it! Left some criticism too! Would love to hear your opinion on ours too!

Love everything from the art to the concept to the music (maybe the music i not my thing, but it still fits and is good). Some criticism:

- Game lacks feedback on the type of weaknesses and dmg. What I mean by dmg is that I was not sure if the active on the shield was doing anything.

- Nice tutorials, but none of them teaches you that you have actives (the shield imminently stars blocking for more so you would assume it is auto battling, but it isn't). I would suggest ether make them auto trigger or add a tutorial for that

- And lastly, maybe most importantly, the enemies still attack while you try to configure your skill points, I would assume it is like this so you need to manage your pints under pressure, but I think this game has a big potential to be a great strategy game and adding like a pause button (that pauses only the battle and you can still configure your skill tree) will make it flow much better

Rated your game too!

Yeah, very confusing what you need to do to start well... doing something... Still, I like the vfx and movement. Biggest complaint for me is mouse sensitivity, so maybe a setting for that would be nice! Also some indication for the enemies and and a slower progression through the difficulty feels needed.

Edit: Also add some kind of music/ambience, it feels empty on top of being empty until you realize you need to go in the house multiple times.
