How does the game fit the theme?
A speedrunning first person platformer where you have to get everything perfect and Nothing Can Go Wrong!
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All code was done during the jam, 3D models and sound effects and music were used from online sources and have been properly credited. But all development was done in time for the jam.

Decent momentum game! Only thing is that slide jumping doesnt seem to work :<
Very fun game! I really like the idea and general vibe. The movement is fun, however it needs some more polish imo. It feels too slidy and like the player doesn't have much control over it. Also I noticed that slide jumping doesn't seem to work. When I tried jump sliding in the tutorial, I couldn't jump over the wall. I think the movement could be improved by adding things like momentum, coyote time and tweaking the physics. Another criticism I have is that having lives felt kind of pointless. I think the game would benefit more from just restarting the run everytime the player fails. Other than that the game was great, I really liked the artstyle and music. Overall a very fun and challenging game. Good job!
Heya! Thanks for playing it means the world to me! Now I did actually download it and play it again and now I completely understand what you and the other comments mean, the slide jump is a wee bit broken. My bad! And I completely agree that lives are pointless, it was a last minute idea. I will be updating the game after the jam voting is over, I can promise that I have great things planned, when those things'll happen, hopefully the near future!
But thank you so much for the ideas and thank you for playing!
Great visuals! I really liked the art style. The movement felt good, but I think it could be even better with a bit more polish—maybe adjusting the jump physics or adding a bit of momentum could help. Keep it up!
Great game! Movement was difficult but other then that it was fun!
Great parkour runner! The pixelation and art style worked well together, had a good visual feel. Had to brutalize myself to make it through but enjoyed getting there!
The physics felt a bit overly floaty to me, but I think that might be more an indication of wanting a more tangible sense of speed from the movement. I think being out in an open empty space, you lack the kind of point of references of an environment to gauge your sense of speed so doesnt have as impactful of a feel. Realize that didnt make much sense so not super helpful, I just think having a more constrained sense of environment could improve the feel.
Great work! Really enjoyed playing!
Cool visuals! I also had problems with the slide jumping, just as Jae did, and I couldn't finish the tutorial. Otherwise, this kind of game is lots of fun! If you keep working on it by refining the inputs and physics, it could be a great platform to build some wild levels for. Good stuff
The movement seems too difficult, especially the slide jump. Apart from that , no issues from my side; good job!
Couldn't finish the tutorial, because I had trouble with sliding and getting a jump boost. Had to press W + SHIFT + CTRL + SPACE all at the same time
Tried the final level anyways, and it was pretty fun, but I got stuck on a part where I think the jump boost was required to progress
The movement feels strange tbh, I never got used to it. It felt something was wrong with the deceleration, but maybe it was because I never let go of SHIFT :D
Nice parkour/runner game! I really liked the music and your style. I also have some suggestions:
1) Do not send the player to the main loading screen after completing the level.
2) I want to kill monsters when I run into them. But now I die
3) Maybe change the graphics a bit, because it's a bit blurry now.
That's it, good luck with the development!
Hey! Thank you for the feedback!
1) Completely agree, will be addressing this in a future update!
2) That's fair, I coded them so if you jump perfectly before you get to them you can keep the run going.
3) I agree, it was a stylistic choice as I liked how it made it look but I can fine tune it in a future update and try and make it less blurry!
Overall, thank you for your feedback, I'll definitely consider it as I work on future updates!
This was a very fun game! I love speedrun games and platform games so combining them together makes me enjoy it even more!
Amazing visuals!! Running mechanics were very cool!!
I have a suggestion though: Put some screenshots or gifs where you are playing the game. This is very important as it will make people more incline towards downloading your game.
great work though!!
This was really fun! I think the visuals were really cool, and I loved the feeling of the enemy slide - it lends itself to some very slick sequences of ramming through enemies and then pulling off some cool jumps. I will say - for the sake of the jam, I'm not sure that having limited lives necessarily adds too much to the experience. I think just letting the player respawn but maybe telling them their death count at the end would be cool since it would make it faster to get back into each game. Even still, the mechanics are really fun - great work!
Amazing and challenging gameplay! I would love to see the polished version of this game. Fixing a bit of difficulties and bugs would be great!
Nice game! I also had problems with the tutorial but the rest was fine. Great job!
It's simple but fun! Had problems with the tutorial as some other comments said, but the main level was quite fun. Nicely done!
As a Sonic fan, you had me hooked!
I will say though that the jump feels a bit too floaty for me - can barely change direction midair, so it feels really punishing. Plus, every time you get a game over you have to sit through the intro again... 😅
Besides that, I also couldn't get the slide jump to work? I'm not sure why - maybe I'm missing something - but I tried many many times in the tutorial before I gave up and switched to the actual stage, haha
But other than that, very fun and solid game! Loved it! The dash mechanic is pretty refreshing and the overall style of the game is really nice.
Thank you for the feedback! Definitely going to update it after the jam and fix the controls up as I've had a couple comments about the slide jump don't worry! But yeah, thank you for the feedback, really appreciate it, as soon as I can fix it after the jam, please feel free to check it out afterwards! I want to keep working on this so see this version I've made for the jam as a demo of sorts!
