He's an eager one, isn't he?

It's a very novel concept and the smooth motions you have to make can be very satisfying. I would have just liked him to give me a couple of seconds before moving after the level started!

Great idea and well done!

Interesting idea, it was difficult to collect things like the keys, but a solid idea in general, good job!

Blue mousey wants cheese, but blue mousey is lactose intolerant. :(

Seems a bit hard for me, but I like the idea.

Developer

oh wow i didnt think of that analogy

Why does clicking on your target area bring you back to the menu, deleting all your progress? :(((

The idea is simple, but it works quite well. There are some things to polish, like the blocks that appear and disappear could have some transparency animation at least for you to know what's going to happen. I'm not a fan of that mouse drag control, especially on a laptop, but it's ok I guess :)

Developer(+1)

all that is gonna be fixed in the update :D

That's the attitude, alright!

Pretty fun, although I don't really see the point of having to drag the cube, rather than it just be your cursor. It happens a few times that you restart the level and then fail to grab it in time and it's just annoying. Color coding should also have a bit more thought to it. Blocks that can be removed with keys have the same color as the exit, and then there is a blue key that removes a red block.

Developer

all that is gonna be fixed in the update, and no, im not going to do that of the cursor, to allow future mechanics

Really cool concept. It needs to be a little more polished, and the art need some work. But overall I enjoyed playing it! Well done!

I really liked this game! It has a lot of potential and I hope you continue to work on it after the jam. Just a few things to improve on: The door and win area are the  same color and I thought I could go through the red part of the door; maybe change the door and key color to a different color), also, the suddenly popping in and out walls in level 4 were kind of annoying since they were hard to predict.

Also, not really a critique of your game but a feature I thought you could add was some areas where the player isn't allowed to bring the orange box so he/she would have to be extra careful in leading the character.

Developer

Thx for the ideas! i fixed the item colors and the on/off walls and im gonna consider that about the accessibility

Nice idea. I think would need to be a bit more polished.

The yellow areas on level 4 disappear and appear in a frustrating way, because it's hard to stop you and you usually finish to touch them.

The red area is very similar to the finish area, and that be a bit conterintuitive.

Other than those elements, nice game and well done!

Really nice. I liked it. I found myself constantly moving my mouse closer to try and slow down, and losing because of it, so there was a real learning curve to it. I found moving while near an edge to be rather tricky, but it seems like with the upcoming patch notes that you already have a plan for it. I really liked this. Also, I really liked the music, so if you do figure out who the original creator was, let me know. :)

Developer

thx! you can find the creator by searching "ewof sad 8 bits" in youtube

Fun idea! It was really satisfying to finally beat a tough level. The visuals, while minimal, are great at conveying necessary information, which works really well for a game like this. I eventually got stuck on level 8 I think, but I really enjoyed the levels I got to (although, the disappearing blocks did get frustrating). In some cases, you might be able to just replace disappearing blocks with sliding ones, to give a better indication of when they'll block you.

very cool idea for a game! i will say that i think level 7 is way harder than every otherlevel and should probably be at the end lol. also, might be nice to have more variety as far as the art goes. i get the minimal art style, but some variation might be a good change of pace. overall, i really enjoyed  this. a fun, simple, yet challenging concept that reminds me of a lot of browser games i used to play. great job!

Simple yet fun game! I also like the music!

Nice game mastapeece!

Simple idea, pretty fun to play.

Nice relaxing music to calm down the frayed nerves from some frankly quite frustrating levels.

I think the dissappearing and reappearing blocks could use some sort of indication of when they will swap.

All in all, fun and neat game.

This game gets really tricky sometimes, but its fair, in fact, the hit boxes are quite forgiving. The color coding is used really well, but I think the art is pretty uninspired.

The concept is good, its designed cleverly, and new mechanics are introduced at a good pace.

10 out of 5 - A little something for everyone.

The difficulty curve is spot on, and with some polish and and some graphics work this could become pretty popular. The controls do feel solid once you get the hang of it, and it is a pretty unique game. Only change I would make would be to just have the cube on the mouse, because I died a few times restarting the level and then having to move my mouse back to grab the cube, then moving it to where I wanted it. Other than that, I think controlling something that controls the player is a very good idea, and could possibly make a good mobile app, well done. :)

This game is pretty fun! I love the direction you've taken with the level design as it gradually increases in difficulty as you play through the levels. Really satisfying to play, great job! :D

I really like how you ramp up the difficulty as the level progresses, and it reminds me of web games I'd play when I was a kid that required a similar kind of precision. It's fun once you get the hang of it :D Good job!

Developer(+1)

thx! this game is very inspired by the worlds harddest game

Submitted(+1)

Fun concept, I like how much variety this game gets out of a very simple mechanic. The level design ramps up well and some of the later stages are really difficult! Great work

This is a really neat puzzle game! I remember seeing another game with a similar core game mechanic but instead of guiding the player to a goal you have to guide a monster to the player before they reach the goal! Unfortunately I can't remember the name otherwise I would link it but this game has a much neater aesthetic and overall game feel! Excellent work!

Nice game! I had some troubles with the difficulty whilst playing at first and it was a little bit annoying to have to move the mouse over to the small square before I'm able to move it around - did you try making it so the blue character just follows the mouse itself instead of an object which the mouse has to pick up and drag?

Otherwise, lots of nice content and there's clearly lots of good ideas you have for this idea going forward, I'd be interested to see where you take this idea next (I've said this for a few games already but this could be a really good game to fit on a smartphone format if you are considering looking into that?)

Developer

Thx! During development i realized that my game is perfect for phones. And no i didnt try that and tbh im not gonna do it to allow future mechanics
