There is a BLACK HOLE disrupting and cause defense towers to malfunction and be placed randomly! Also your ship's main cannon is on the fritz and shooting wacky. It's all OUT OF CONTROL~

Graphics and audio were nice, but the gameplay felt a little slow to me in the beginning. Well done.

This game was a bit frustrating, the gun was very slow to shoot and didn't seem to do anything when hitting enemies. I didn't really get it but good job getting your game made and it looks nice
Yeah in the beginning you're just trying to get coins for putting down more towers, I found if the gun was too strong people wouldn't even bother getting coins for towers XD I will balance it better for sure, thanks for playing~ Any suggestions to improve?

The lack of reliability on the tower placement and the ship canon are great wrinkles to the gameplay. I think a win turned out to be more achievable than I had anticipated when I first started up, but I respect making a game balanced and beatable in the time window available.
My only real complaint is that I wish the ship were a little more distinct, particularly against the grey path - though that actually might just be a problem with my eyes

Great graphic and diverse enemy design. Although some feedback on enemies getting hit would be nice, like flashing white, knockback or a health bar. Also can't help but wonder if it would be more chaotic and out of control if the bullet from your tower actually damages you as well so it also turns into a bullet-hell late-game.
But overall, it's a great game and I had a lot of fun playing it.

I liked the spread on the gun, it made me get up close to the enimies which increased the risk of getting hit

This is a super fun game, scored 8200. An amazing idea very well executed. And the polish, just wow. The animations, particle effects, the glow, the pixel art, the music... Very well done
P.S: I see the parallax now, the secret was adding lots of layers, thx ^^

Yeah I think there are 6 layers of stars and 1 foreground 'dust' layer.

The game vibes feel fantastic, music and art are very pleasant and fitting. I had a problem with a slow and malfunctioning gun, this part of the game felt slightly frustrating instead of adding to the gameplay for me. Nonetheless, it is a very well-executed game and it's unbelievable how much you were able to do in such a tiny time period!

Haha, I see what you mean! Well, uniqueness of purpose could help. As an example: gun deals damage, towers can stun / slow down / apply random effects which multiply amount of damage done by a certain type of gun (if new ones were implemented) or be particualrly useful against specific enemies etc.
I scored 6550 points. Is It a good one? not sure. Game is really fun to play. I like the art style too.

Fun. had a good time playing it. Might be interesting to have coins also work as a point multiplier to give a reason not to spend them.

Super enjoyable to play. The game play did eventually get a bit repetitive. Something else to focus on during game could help like repairing towers or just something to mix up the game play a little can help keep player interest. In saying this I did love the game. Good Job :D.

Very nice aproach on the tower defense genre! Its actually cool that you dont need to worry too much about tower placement, and can focus more on action! Very well balanced, and I like the variety of towers and enemies! Good thing it ended on 8000 points, or I would spend too much time on it. Lol! Great job!

I definitely feel like this is one of my favorite games of the jam so far. I have always loved tower defense games and I love your take. The chaos the elements that you cannot control and the frantic nature of the game. Small thing, one time I get hit and stunned by the enemies and because the stunning doesn't allow you to move, I was caught in a stun lock because of the pacing of the enemies. I'd maybe allow like very small movements in that stun mode so you don't get stun locked. Otherwise great! Thanks for sharing and hope you keep working on it and and more levels.

I've given this critique a lot today so please don't take it personally: This game would be amazing if it didn't have all the parts you added to make it fit the "out of control" theme. I guess I'm the type of person who doesn't like randomness in games, but I think that if this was a standard tower defense and it was balanced around that, you could put this on the app store and it'd be better than most of the defense games on there. You did a really good job, but this theme was really hard to create for.
