Thanks for playing~  I found if I made the gun too good people ignored getting coins to place towers haha.  Tough one to balance~

Haha, I see what you mean! Well, uniqueness of purpose could help. As an example: gun deals damage, towers can stun / slow down / apply random effects which multiply amount of damage done by a certain type of gun (if new ones were implemented) or be particualrly useful against specific enemies etc.
