A fun experience! I had some trouble trying to pinpoint where the ball was going to land sometimes, and ended up overshooting a lot of jumps, but the idea is interesting and engaging; I liked having to adapt to the constantly changing world, good job!

Had a lot of fun with the game! Loved how the levels progressed over time.

I know the music was pre-existing but it REALLY works well with the game you've built. This reminds me a bit of the 3D sections of Sonic but more whacky and with vertical maps. I wish there was more ramping of difficulty with each new thing being introduced. But in general this is a very snappy and fun game mechanic- curious to see how far this could be pushed in terms of polish. I almost felt like I was controlling a pinball within a malfunctioning pinball machine, so maybe other levels could be re-skinned if you continue to develop this. overall good stuff!

Developer

A malfunctioning pinball machine is a fantastic idea, definitely something I might have to consider in the future. Wish I'd thought of that to begin with even! Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

I have no idea where did you find the music with this funny chipmunks sounds, but it was a great choice, it sold the game for me :D

One suggestion would be to either increase the speed of falling down to the void, or make the ball respawn quicker. I felt it was unnecessary long. Also, I still didn't get if grey/brown jumpers were randomly activated or by me. It wasn't as clear to understand

Although, the concept is very fun. Without a joke, this is totally a game that I would play a lot (and burn inside a lot too), because it reminds me golf games. It's always frustrating to miss the end by a little distance, but so rewarding when you do :)

Very engaging game!

Very kind of you to say. I found a link on opengameart to http://www.nosoapradio.us/, the guy has hundreds of music tracks that are free to download that have an attribution license. A lucky find tbh!
Its a good point about the respawn, I should probably move the collider a bit higher so there's not such a big drop. I put it in at the start when I didn't know how far down the level was going to go tbh!
All changes in the levels were random, except in the last level where the whole section rotates to drop you.

I have to admit, when testing the levels there were a few times that I had to go again because the level shifted at the end, so I certainly understand your pain. It was worse originally tbh, the level moved at a faster rate. I slowed it down after the level with the pipe shifted while I was in there and fired me about a hundred meters into the air (though it was funny). In hindsight maybe I should have had difficulty options that increase the amounts and speed of the shifting!
 Glad you enjoyed it :)

Nice game. A bit hard to see where the marble was going at some levels but I've liked the idea.

Developer

Thanks very much! If I ever get round to adding to it I'll work on the camera motion a bit. I appreciate the advice!

Liked it a lot! Gave me flashbacks of spending hours playing marble rollers with the wii motion controls... I think I like the arrow keys controls in your game better :p

Developer

I never tried one on the wii, I bet that was hard! Thanks for giving it a go, glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for giving it a go! If I'd had another day I would have added a timer and some coin pickups for score but I was a bit burnt out!

Managed to complete the game :) The pipe in level 3 in combination with world movement makes it very hard haha. One time it looked like I would make it, but the ball went right through the platform as it moved upwards.

Developer

It is very frustrating when it moves while you're in the pipe or just about to land, I've not had it go straight through it on that one though.

Thanks, that will hopefully help me figure out why it's been doing that occasionally (I had issues on the last level so maybe it's while it is moving)

A lot of fun! I liked the introduction of new elements, and the parts of the level dropping out was butt-clenching! I also really enjoyed how if you played through a level multiple times, or maybe just saw an opening, you could find ways to skip to a further part of the level. Overall I enjoyed it.

Developer

haha, butt clenching eh? Good to hear you enjoyed it!
