This is exactly the type of game I want to see from a GMTK Game Jam. It takes a simple mechanic and use it in different interesting ways to solve a puzzle.
Really excellent entry, I love it.

Really excellent entry, I love it.
Loved, loved, loved the music for this game. The controls were great, the character responded as I expected and hoped he would. The explosion was such a simple and well executed mechanic, the game felt really clean. The level design was also incredible especially considering this was done over a weekend. Great work, makes me wish I was better at platformers!
Really interesting concept with a very nice looking presentation. Great work!
Dude! Amazing work!
Super cohesive game, especially for a jam, and felt like all of the mechanics and levels supported the theme of the game extremely well. Also great art and sound design. Definitely top 20 in my eyes :D
This seems like the most thought-out and finalized game! It looks amazing, plays amazing and yet manages to be balanced. I'd love for it to be a bit more fast-paced, though. Waiting for a jump after dying feels like a long amount of time, even though it's just 3 seconds.
Enormously fun game with an explosively fun gimmick. Level design and art are superb, really good work wich you can make a full game. Nicely done.
It's a very simple take on the theme I'd say, but it is very well implemented, it's a really nice game and had fun on exploding myself over and over ^^
This is definitely going to be my favorite platformer of the jam. Jump is well designed and you had a neat core mechanic. I thought it was going to be exactly like Cockatune at first but realized on level 3 that you can still jump regularly haha. The fully explodable sections and keys that you have to explode to open doors are really good mechanics that build on the core one. Other small graphical details I really appreciated too like the count down timer becoming a slightly brighter red as it counted down and the background wave and the foreground wave at different shades of green and speeds.
Also love the fact that you had bonus hard levels, they were a good challenge, the timing on the last one was especially tight. Do you have any favorite platformers that inspire you?
One minor suggestion is that the spikes should be colored something different from the walls since I wasn't sure if they were spikes at first and even afterwards it was a bit hard to immediately parse a level because of their color. Probably something close to pure white would be good if pure white is too bright for the game's palette.
Super polished and fun :) I toughed it out to beat all your extra levels too! The hardest parts for me were trying to time flying off of a wall I was holding onto, but it gets easier the more you play. I wanted to be able to jump off of walls that I was clinging too, but the game would have to be balanced for that.
If you have time, please check out the game I helped on for the jam, called "Foobar". Thanks!
Great execution of the theme, super adicting and well polished game, the art work is fanstastic too. Great job boys, keep it up!

Great concept, although I found it quite hard to play. Will be some people's perfect cup of tea though!
