I like the game, but its nice to see the addition of newer textbooks, and powers. It would also be nice to have a cue as to when powers will be switched soon. An instructions page could be included to have the menu screen neater, or rather a demonstration of how the powers work, instead of the instructions. Overall a great game, I had a great laugh burning the math textbooks, and best of luck in the GMTK game jam! 9/10, would fail math again!

This is an incredible game! The movement felt amazing, the art was good, and the different emotions were cool.

Very cool! I especially enjoyed the art and the way that the gameplay is always switching up. Nicely done!

Varied and fluid capacities. Interesting concept!

Nice, the mood being 'out of control' was quite clever way of interpreting the theme!

Out of all four moods, I think the joy is the my favourite mood.. It feels great to dash through the books while emitting some fancy trails.

My little feedback is that it would be good to add some sort of indications before switching to next mood, especially on the 'joy' mood where you have to run into enemies but then you could sometimes switch to next mood while you're in middle of dashing through enemies & take some damage.
I know that's not quite realistic (y'know.. mood swings doesn't have any sort of convenient indications) but for the sake of gameplay, I think this would let the players to prepare & plan out their next strategy and make the gameplay more fair & interesting.

Pretty cool sound and smooth mechanics.

If only I could have done the same to my books when I was in school. It was quite fun and I was not expecting it to be so enjoyable!

I like the concept about emotions going out of control (Kinda similar to my game). It was a very fun game to play

The funnest I've had burning books!

I like how it fits the theme.

Without a doubt, joy is the most powerful ability.

I think (probably?) it could benefit from a bit more balancing of the abilities. Anger seems strong but one click per kill can’t match just sprinting through 8 books at once.

Overall, clever and fun

Best game so far, only thing I want is feedback for when i'm gonna change state because at the end of the happy state it's very easy to accidentally take damage. Changing state is like getting the big pills/circles in pacman but more satisfying and more often.

The mood swings are very cool. And I really like how you have no control over what mood swing you have, yet you have control over using that mood swing to your advantag!

Highly relatable! Loved it 😁
