Hi TobAlt, glad you enjoyed the sprites. I don't handle requests at the moment since its time consuming creating niche beyond practical and free assets. Also, I can understand why a death animation might be useful, but may I ask why a beheading animation?

Thank you!

I was browsing itch.io and found this game on your profile page.

It was the front most creation.

As for the alpha, I can playtest and offer feedback sometime later next week.

Anyways, best of luck on your game!

10/10 puzzle game. I couldn't even get past the password screen.

All jokes aside. I can't wait to see how the game turns out.

The artwork is amazing as usual.

Thanks!

Thank you! Glad you like the pixel art!

Thank you!

Great ideas! I'll keep both suggestions in mind.

Thank you! I'll try my best to create more resources. Any ideas you have in mind?

Thank you!

It took me an hour to beat the AI. The AI is difficult imo.

10/10, would play again.

obrigado :D

I survived 5 waves, instakilled by minigun on wave 6. Overall a nice game!

This game was recommended to me by someone else in the GMTK discord chat, and I was not disappointed. This game is absolutely amazing. 5/5.

Here are some follow thoughts, I really want to see this game improve and grow:

1. If you make a multiplayer version of this, I'm sure people will buy this.

2. You could add a background to contrast how fast the player is yeeting their self in the sky.

3. The rocket launcher needs recoil aside from the rocket itself, and the massive mini gun enemies are overpowered in my opinion.

Lol, thanks for trying out the game.

Nice pixel art, love the bouncy slime. Best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

Saw this recommended in a discord chat.  Was not disappointed. 10/10.

The game abides by the themes of the jam, and the game by itself is fun.

Love the music and game mechanics. Prioritizing controls at certain times is certainly an insightful and unique game concept, and is very well executed. Best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

Thanks for trying the game out!

The puzzles are a little difficult to grasp at first. I made this puzzle game because I found most puzzle games to be too easy, or ended too briefly. I wanted to make a fair puzzle game where a player would have to sit there and think and savor each problem, maybe for several days on end. Regardless, thank you for taking the time to play the game, and best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

Best of luck to you in the GMTK game jam!

Thank you for playing the game, I might make this into an Android app one day. best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

Thank you so much for trying out my game. I agree, I might make this an Android app one day. Best of luck to you in the GMTK game jam!

I like the game, but its nice to see the addition of newer textbooks, and powers. It would also be nice to have a cue as to when powers will be switched soon. An instructions page could be included to have the menu screen neater, or rather a demonstration of how the powers work, instead of the instructions. Overall a great game, I had a great laugh burning the math textbooks, and best of luck in the GMTK game jam! 9/10, would fail math again!

Score: 1140

Longest Combo: 40

Sadly couldn't beat the boss, buts still an amazing game. 5/5

Thank you, I'm glad you like the UI and UX. Best of luck to you in the GMTK game jam!

Thank you for playing the game, and best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked the game. I will consider making this an android app one day. Best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

I'm glad you liked the game. I might work on more levels and music after the game jam, who knows?

I found the game to be a tad of a grind. I like the explosions though, watching the player bounce on the screen was fun. Best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

The music is really intense, and the enemies are fast. I like the intensive game play. Best of luck to you in the GMTK game jam!

Thank you for playing my game. I agree, there needs to be optional music for the game. I might update the game someday to include music. Best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

The puzzles are a tad difficult, beating half the puzzles is perfectly fine. I agree, the vbs file is a little suspicious, and I need to work on a more effective and appealing way to share my games with others. Thank you so much for your feedback, and best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

The first few levels were really fun, it was fun watching the car drift across the entire screen. I wish I knew how to rotate the camera though. Overall a great game, and best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

Great concept of a game, I had trouble reading all the words on the screen, or skipping the intro to jump straight into game play, but it was worth the wait. I like the slow motion kill cam, that was fun to watch. Best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

I'm glad you liked the game. Best of luck in the game jam!

Interesting concept, but I wish I was better at typing. Overall, a great game, and best of luck to you in the GMTK game jam!

Thank you for playing my game! Don't undersell yourself, the game was genuinely difficult to make, and to play test.

Best of luck to you in the GMTK gamejam!

Thank you for playing my puzzle game, I'm glad you appreciate the aesthetics and game play! A lot of the code I write comes from years of practice and improvements, and has become a reusable stencil in my projects. It was with this stencil that I was further able to code this game.

As for the theme, In order for something to be out of control, full control needs to be established first, and slowly taken away. The sense of control was slowly being taken away from the player, as the patterns and grids became more absurd, level by level. I really hope this train of thought made sense.

Anyways, best of luck to you in the GMTK game jam!

Thank you for playing my game! Very few get to the Queen puzzle, I'm impressed! Best of luck to you in the GMTK game jam!
