really neat idea, looks real nice, but a few things are a bit annoying:

-having no way to skip the timer between swaps and swaps being random means that you sometimes will be sitting there just waiting for it to be the right guy's turn

-the screen swap thing, while a good surprise at first, just becomes annoying as you get far into the levels

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback! In fact, we made some not so interesting decisions, but we are adding as much feedback as possible to rethink and proceed with the project!

It's a pretty strong and cohesive submission with a pretty fun "out of control" mechani which doesn't ruin the core gameplay at all.

Developer

Thank you! We hope you had fun!

I liked the concept, but found it a bit frustrating to play. I think it would be better to have at least a little bit of control over the swtiching. for example, maybe a switch happens no matter what, but you can pick who to go to next. I sat around trying to swap to the blue guy for awhile, and only got to use him for a few seconds, and I couldn't progress. I think with a bit of tweaking it could be really good!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We are afraid to leave the topic, but we will certainly rethink some decisions!

A great entry that kept me engaged all the way through. I love the artwork and lighting! I think there either needs to be a skip button for the counter, which might negate the need for random characters, maybe a "next up" section like in Tetris where it tells you what the next character is so you can plan ahead, or simply add the ability to push other characters because I spent so much time just waiting in this game because I couldn't progress and it wouldn't switch to the character I needed to get out of the way. Still definitely gave you a feeling of being out of control!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Some of our decisions were not really the best, but we will try to correct these frustrating elements and even rethink some concepts!

I like the idea, and the music/art fits nicely together; there's some great teamwork! The game unfortunately felt more towards frustrating than fun; for example with things like how your own allies block the way, not knowing when you're going to be able to move them, only to realize the other one is now in the way. That being said, there's so many interesting things going on that it's impressive you were able to do so much in such a small amount of time, great work!

Developer(+1)

Sorry for the frustration, we really made some decisions in favor of Out of Control that were not so cool, however, we are thinking about reevaluating some concepts that we developed in this project! Thanks for the feedback!

I think game jams are the perfect times for experimenting! Good luck with everything!

Submitted(+2)

This is a great concept that was executed quite clearly. Flipping the screens around really added to the difficulty. Having the switch be based on a timer is completely understandable for the jam, but I wonder if that's something that can be changed later because I did find myself waiting sometimes just for the timer to run out. Still, great job on your entry!

Developer(+2)

Thank you! We hope you enjoyed it! We want to continue working on the project after the game jam!

Caramba que jogo incrível!

Obrigado!

This is a great jam game, the levels had me engaged very quickly. Definitely should consider polishing it and marketing it!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the feedback! We are thinking about continuing with the project!

Submitted(+2)

Maze and puzzle, love the combination in this atmosphere. Gj

Developer(+1)

THANKS! ^-^

I really enjoyed this! Quickly had me engaged and invested in the levels - obviously if you'd had more time or continue developing it so the pacing was more streamline it would be a real success I think

Developer(+1)

Thank you for thinking so! We are thinking about after the gamejam, rethink some elements, make the game more dynamic!

Submitted(+2)

I feel like this would be a very fun game without being so much out of control. I liked the puzzles, especially scouting the areas with the light :) But switching to a random character feels unnecessary. What if you could be able to switch to any character at any time, but have limited moves with each character instead of limited time? Nice music and a fun idea!

Developer(+1)

It really seems obvious, but we don't think about it! Thanks for the feedback! We are thinking about revising some concepts after the gamejam!

Submitted(+2)

Cool puzzle game :)

As others mentioned, it is quite slow with the waiting around, especially when it randomly switches to the wrong character you need.

I guess the timing and randomly switching was to make the game more out of control to fit the theme of the jam (which it totally does!), but personally after the jam I would remove that mechanic and let the player toggle through the characters at will. That is my 2 cents :)

Anyway, well polished game, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! After the gamejam, we are thinking about removing and rethinking some of these elements! We hope you had fun!

Submitted(+2)

I enjoyed it, it has great puzzles and an interesting mechanic. Like others have said already, there was a bit of waiting around, but overall it was fun to play :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! We will probably make changes in this regard!

Submitted(+2)

Intresting. Maybe needs some polish, like more feedback when a character changes and lock a charcter when you don't need it anymore. I want to see it as a full release.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! ^ - ^ we really want to keep working on the game, i have some ideas for new types of challenges and a way to decrease the waiting time within the game!

Submitted(+2)

Interesting concept :) I like the idea of having to solve puzzles with the rules constantly changing, but the darkness meant there was a lot of waiting around for the right character to pop up. Overall it was cool, but I think it would be interesting to see what it could turn into with some more polish, if you wanted to keep working on this. Well done!

Developer(+1)

We are interested in continuing with this project, some decisions that we clearly made were not the best, but it was great for us to realize what is not really working!

Submitted(+2)

Really cool puzzles. Had great aha moments. I don't think the screen flipping added much besides confusing me. The other mechanics of mixing characters switch was pretty novel and a good use of the theme!

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the feedback! ^ - ^ we really want to keep working on the game, i have some ideas for new types of challenges!!

Submitted(+2)

This game makes me go YES! I dig the music. There's room for improvement with it but cool nonetheless.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! ^ - ^

I get what concept you were going for, and it does feel out of your control, but unfortunately with no stake in being fast mixed with limited visibility it often become a long waiting game as you wait for the characters to rotate to the correct one instead of a planning/strategizing  one. The visual language as well make it hard to tell what is wall and what is ground. They are too close to be discernible from each other at a glance. I like the idea of each character having individual roles though.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Of course, sorry if it seemed a little rough. I always find what I can work on more important than what I did well which can always come off a little pessimistic

Submitted(+1)

The core idea of characters cooperating is super neat, liked it a lot. But I think the randomness hurt it in some places. Sometimes I was left waiting for the red alien to be selected, because I did no longer had tasks for the other two.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for Feedback! We really wanted to change randomness after a character became useless, but we just didn't have time!
