Cute little platformer! I really like the atmosphere you created with lighting and music. The bolts the crossbows shoot should be a bit more visible as I could hardly see them but otherwise a really nice game!

Just Uploaded Checkpoint functionality, Thanks for your comments!

Despite the game being challenging, I really liked the story! My only complaint/critique is, no checkpoints, but other than that it was a good game!

I can't remember what this is called, but in platforming games(modern ones) they will usually allow you to "make" the jump if you are close to the platform and would otherwise miss it.
The most notable example that has this is Dead Cells. It's basically really hard for humans to  do precision platforming in games, so these things usually get added to avoid player frustration.

I would consider experimenting with this feature in the future, as it improves player enjoyment of platforming games. I was kind of frustrated by missing so many jumps by what seems to be 1-2pixels.

I was engaged in the story and enjoyed the mood and lighting effects!  As many others have said, it does need checkpoints.  Still a great effort and a fun game overall!

As others have said, having no checkpoints when you can insta-die makes it very hard and frustrating. Aside from that I like the aesthetics and the premise.

Very simple but pretty engaging!

Enjoyed the parkour parts alot.
Arrows seemed very tough but once you understand them it becomes easier to handle them.

Got invested in the story a bit also^^
Only complain is that the lack of checkpoints made the come-back kinda frustrating.
This small addon will do so much to your game!

Good stuff!

Fun game! I had a great time playing it!
I think this game could definitely use some ledge forgiveness, where if you press jump the moment after you leave a ledge, it still jumps anyway.
Also, not having checkpoints was really frustrating. I can understand having one-hit death, to make the game unforgiving, but once I've successfully completed an area, it kinda sucks to complete it again, haha.
I really loved the lighting effects!

All in all, really fun. Nice job!

The game is cool, level designs are nice, so good job!

Here's what I'd improve:

- The game's performance wasn't very good for me, specially if I played fullscreen, sound break a bit and it make it harder to jump around since it had low fps. Same happened to my game when I added lights effects. They are super pretty but browsers apparently have a really hard time with them so I had to remove them.

- Player controls can be improved, jumping was a little harder than it should, specially when jumping from a slope. Player should probably jump a little higher and move a little faster.

- This game needs to have a few lives so you don't die immediatly after getting hit the first time, and specially respawn checkpoints, starting from beginning gets frustrating really fast.

- There's no dying animation, simply suddenly taken to a game over screen which is quite surprising and not very appealing for the player

Thanks for your comments, Yes Light performance on web browser could be terrible,

I like your idea of dying animation, I did think of that, added to the list of improvements, along the checkpoints

I liked the start and the lighting was cool with the shadows. As far as the gameplay checkpoints would be nice but you already know that, another nice feature would be less slippery slopes, it made the second key very tough to get. That being said the use of multiple assets to make buildings was very nice to see and looked good. Nice job.

The story's concept is interesting and I'm intrigued by it alone but a lack of checkpoints made it hard to press on when you're sent back to the start of the game after every mistake.

I'm going to add the checkpoint feature, I know it could be tricky. Thanks for your comment

The controls could be a bit better specially the jump. The level design is good and it look really polished overall. Nice game! I had fun playing it. :)

I thought the 2D/3D lighting was a super nice touch. Started to lag to a crawl by the time I hit the Kings Text in the beginning. I think it's just the Web version though. Sometimes I'd jump and the sound would play like 3 seconds later. Something is slowing down the web version!

The 2D lighting looks awesome and the game is quite polished! (:

Good job!

I appreciate your comment, thank you!

Engagement: was engaged, but would have been more if it wasn't so unforgiving. Starting at the beginning due to one mistake is brutal! Also wished the controls were a bit smoother, especially the jump that falls too fast.

Use of the art assets: used them very well, created complex environments and gave them a unique mood.

Overall polish: nice presentation, didn't experience any bugs, sound effects and music were good.

Thanks for your comments, I'm going to improve with  the checkpoints.
