I did it in four minutes the first try! Good visuals, simple yet effective gameplay!

1m39s - super fun, great mechanic, visuals and sounds. Very satisfying to reach the top, well done! :D

Great work with the graphics and effects. The wall jumping was an excellent addition - it showed that the mechanic had multiple, interesting uses

Submitted

Simple mechanic, great fun. The game just gets quite difficult after the wall jumping is introduced.

i played this game twice very satisfying game, good music

A fun game but I wish it had more to differentiate it from getting over it, like maybe the pickax could break the floor below where you jumped.

Sick that was really fun

Solid game.

Even though this is a Getting Over It clone, it was really interesting to play! Didn't know it would consume me for 10 minutes :)

Simple sound effect, simple visuals and it looks really polished, cool, thank you for experience!

Also, I don't know if it is intended like that, but you can skyrocket up through long walls with enough click timing :)) But of course with speed increase comes the huge accuracy decrease :)

9m and 43 s overall

P.S. - yeah, I see other people said that, but you should extend left and right screen edges, to click on them is not hard, but frustrating right now, because you can just miss click on a browser

It is a really good rage game that isn't too hard. So in a way it is an easy Getting Over It. I really loved it and think you should make it bigger.

It was a fun experience! This is like Getting Over It for light hearted people like me! XD loved it

Awesome game and a really impressive level of polish for such a short jam! Great game feel!

2m 10s! Feels very juicy. Looks great with the color palette, use of assets and effects, big fan of the parallax scrolling in the background. Feels good to play, could totally see this as an endless climber on a phone. Great job!

You've gave me PTSD of jump king by playing this game

i love how you polished the mechanics you have real hard.It feels very good to swing the pickaxe^^

Nice work!

It's really hard for me but i can't stop playing! The control feels too good and the way he jumps looks satisfying too!

Submitted

Hah this is great!  Love the amount of polish it feels really good to jump around.  Agree that a buffer on  the side of the active mouse area would have helped but no other notes!

It would be nice to have some more space on the sides, and maybe a fullscreen button too.

Other than that, though, the polish is perfect, and the mechanic is excellent. I will be addicted to this for a while.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing, and for the feedback! I tried adding itch.io's fullscreen button, and although it worked fine, I think people playing in the default size could end up misclicking this button while playing. Still, I'll look for a way to add a fullscreen without using onscreen buttons after the jam is over.

I'll also look into making the walls on the sides a little bigger. Thanks again for the feedback!

I found a game that doesn't use that for fullscreen. I thought you might want to see. https://simonknowsstuff.itch.io/the-sword

What a game with simple control and interesting moving mechanic!

There are so much potential of this being a hot game just by expanding the map a bit!

Also I think its fun to watch streamers playing and falling from the top til the bottom lol

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback! After the jam is over we are pretty sure of making an update to this game, since it is doing so well. I also think it will be great to see streamers falling hahaha making the map bigger will make this even better!

Wow such a cool game...ive raged a liitle but the core mechanics of the game are amazing

Developer

Thanks! It was kinda our intent to make the game rage the player a little bit hahaha sorry about that!

Submitted

Nah its ok cause i made a rage game myself for this game jam XD

I can't, for the life of me, finish this game but that's because I am awful at it. How awful, you say? I tried to beat it for about 35 minutes and as time went on, I fell further and further down haha. My own skill aside, I can tell this is an awesome game unmatched in its polish. You guys really did a tremendous job. This is the type of game that could easily be scaled further and made into a full, paid, release. So job well done! I just wish I was better at it haha.

Developer

Damn, I'm really happy to see that you liked it so much, thanks a lot!! Know that you are not alone on not being great at this game. Myself and a friend of mine also are awful at it, but I tried to make it fun even if you start hitting walls and going further down, which happened quite often with me. Happily I could just reset the game at any position I wanted hahaha

Big thanks for the compliments on polish and on the possibility of a full game also. The idea itself is quite simple, so the polish was pretty necessary... and we are thinking about working on a mobile version too. Not sure how it will work out, but we will see! Thanks again!
