That was fun.  Like first one.  Thanks much.  More, please.

Really good, Can't wait until it's finished

I also included your game in an article of my favorites from this jam, which you can read here

At first I thought the game was a bit annoying to play, but then it actually turned out to be really fun. but please, please, PLEASE change the music for different areas. it gets sickening after hearing too many times.

Really a great demo. I love this stile and  hope to see the finished game soon

Really nice game! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation, if you’d like to take a look :)

The graphics are amazing! It's super impressive how much detail there is considering the limited resolution. The sound and music are also quite good, though there could be a bit more variety in the music. The gameplay is solid and there's a great amount of content. I like that you can get new spells, but I would've preferred it if there was more need to use them. I did get the bomb last so perhaps there are some shortcuts you take with it if you get it earlier.

Congratz! You totally deserved it!

This was definitely one of the most impressive entries! Congrats on #1, you earned it! :D

Looks amazing! I can't wait to play it if there's ever a Mac version. :)

I would be very surprised if this didn't win.

One of my most anticipated game of this jams :3
Nice work ! The difference between old and new graphics is noticeable !
I liked the joke of npc giving hints on commands without knowing why :P

Great work and really great way to expand on the original game's world. It was already challenging, but the addition of more spells and updates on visuals and animation really made this sequel sweet! Nice work!

Okay, this is just excellent, I can tell a lot of effort went into making this! Everything works pretty well, and it's impressive how much there is here in terms of areas to explore and hidden secrets to find (I loved the little tsundere sign)

A lot of great work in such a short period of time. Love the visuals. The controls and mechanics feel really good. Some minor things I noticed. Bombs can be cast behind objects (bushes, rocks) - not that big of a deal unless you didn't realize you cast one and cause damage to yourself. Also, when the slimes hit your character, neither they nor your character recoil back (similar to the slimes when you damage them). This can lead to the slimes occupying the same space as the player which means you cant directly hit them with your sword unless you move. These are small nit-picks on an otherwise amazing entry. Great job!

It's fantastic. Great job. Feels very polished, controls great. One of the best I've played this jam.

Pretty nice! Love the graphics and sounds! Was really fun to play. What I think could be improved, however:
* Texts. Sometimes, you wish you could skip them, or simply be able to go through them by pressing the action button.

*the grass. You know what I mean :p
*Feeling like you're lost for a good chunk. That's always an issue with such a restriction. A map would have been super cool. I was progressing but to be honest I had almost no idea where I was most of the time. At least, we don't feel at all lost like in LoX1. :p

Overall, pretty nice improvment over the previous one!

* You can in fact press Q to instantly skip a dialogue, like it says on the game page. It's more of a debuggy command though, but it works.

* ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

* Yeah, thought about doing a map. Probably will add one in. There should've been another cutscene up by the gate telling you where you should look for the statues probably

Ah, yes, sorry! (not like it would have changed the ratings anyway)

Well the map's absence wasn't thaaat much of a big deal since I managed to get lost only once

Neat idea to do a sequel! It's too bad you ran out of time, but it's still a great entry.

Super nice! Loving it!

For such a small res, congratulations you really  created something great, this one is certainly one of the possible winners, gratz.

Go take a look at my game if you have the time.

Cheers.
