I'm a sucker for pirate games and roguelikes so this was right up my alley. Great job on the UI too - felt very smooth to navigate, from character creator to town options and store. Excellent work all around (though the enemies destroying my ship while I was on land felt a little unfair ;)

Goodness! Combat here was really harsh, but I loved it! The concept is great and it totally made me feel like playing some lost GBC game there! :P

This is quite impressive! Turn-based rogue-likes are always a good time, and the art and sounds in 8-Bit Buccaneer were excellent :) Fantastic work!

Looove this concept.  I'm all about turn-based roguelikes, plus I'll never not get excited when I hear the phrase "treasure map". The music was sweet, and character customization was a really nice touch (could only be improved by adding a "random" button). The game is a little too hard, in my opinion, but great execution overall! :)

I bought a map, found the treasure, but then I went to a hard part of the sea, with fierce krakens and a lot of other pirates ! x) 
I'll love to see more of this game !

This is a great little roguelike! I agree with the comment that the hits/misses aren't too clear (took me a couple runs to figure out how the combat was working) but other than that it was pretty fun.
