That was pretty fun! Just wish there were sound effects & more varieties of blocks.
And a timer after I lose so I don't mash the space bar trying very hard not to die and accidentally skip anything afterwards. ^^;

Thanks! Like I said before, I was late for the deadline and this was all I could come up with in 3, also I used no engine, it's all pure java. At this point I'm not gonna make any adittions or updates to the game, except if it is a bug. Actually there is no timer xD, if you press space after you start, your game will restart ahaha, but it's ok, because you have to see the block coming. What I'm gonna do tho, is to remake the game for android and possibly pc. But, that will take a few weeks/months, since I'm currently working on other projects. Anyway, thanks for your review, much appreciated.
Cheers.
Neat game. The concept is pretty interesting and works well. I think there could be a bigger variety of block layouts, though. Also, some sound would be nice.

Great job! I really really liked this one, but I wish there was sound because that would just reinforce the feedback of pressing left right and hitting the space bar. Very fun
Oh, boy, that was fun. It's inredible what you've managed to do in just 3 hours. It lacks sound, but gameplay is just top-notch. The game has a nice difficulty curve (which is important in these kind of games) the controls are great and the idea itself is interesting.
Would love to see a remake or something like that. Great job.
First of all I would like to thank you! Second it's quite interesting how you and some other players talk about the difficulty curve, I'm gonna be honest, I actually didn't put much effort into it, actually it's not about the effort, it's about testing, I didn't test it much, but I'm glad the curve is accurate. About the sound, yep I really did not have the time to do it. About the idea, this was actually based on a game called "Quarth" or should I say cloned? In any case, I only found this game for NES and GB, but that's it, no remakes, as far as I know. So, I thought it would be a good idea to clone it and see your thoughts on it. Well and I only had 3 hours, so that's it.
a nice reminder i should play more pictobits. and at 3 hours dev it's a nice feat . kudos !
That was really fun after I figured out what I was doing! I like the methodical gameplay and the way you can mess up by accidentally making blocks bigger. The difficulty curve is perfect, I was mashing my keyboard like crazy towards the end! With some graphical improvements and sound effects this could be a very addictive game :)
First of all, thanks!
Second, that accident actually gives you more score, but if you are on a harder level, you're done xD
Like I posted on the game's page, I only had 3h before the jam was over, so I had to be quick, I didn't really have much time to make it cool better, also I'm not doing it now, because I think people should vote for what I provided before the voting started. Anyway, I might just use the idea to create a game for android or something, I'm currently working on other projects, but we never no.
Thanks for the critique!
Cheers!
