Super weird and original concept. One of my favorite entries.

Super great entry! I love the graphics, idea, gameplay and overall feeling. The main idea of the game has a lot of potential I think. Including music/sound and some tiny puzzles maybe (all around the ink system) for a post-jam version it would be great. Congrats!

Developer

Thanks! We might elaborate further on this project since it technically was taken from a bunch of ideas we already had.
And yeah about music, I couldn't make anything in time but I will compose for it post-jam since I could use the practice.

Interesting mechanics, and pretty good art and characters design. I loved the snorting animation. You should add music and sound effects for a post-jam version. Level design is also good.

You already played our game: Blind Bird, so we can't do anything but thank you. 」( ̄▽ ̄」)

Woah, really addictive and cute entry! Nice work :3

The concept is really nice! Visually, the game's really well-made and it plays nice too! It does feel like the timer is a bit unforgiving, and I really did miss sounds on this one, but really nice entry! :D

Good job there! :)

I really like the character animation. Very well put together offering - just wish it had sound.

Interesting gameplay but very strict timer. The text does not advance and the game over screen does not reset.

Really creative idea. I like the difficulty progression with every level. so you have to play the same level again in some cases. At the beginning I was not quite sure how to play. Maybe you should make something like an intro where a dude falls to death and turn into color. So that you see, that you can harvest the ink from them. Good job anyway!

I do like the idea of having to swap inks, gives it a bit more depth and puzzle on how to tackle each day.

Super game concept, puzzle, shooting...

The Space Pig is also very well animated.

As already mentioned, sound effects and background music would top it all off.

For jam sound effect you can use LabChirp.

Developer

Thanks, we appreciate it :)
Oh I didn't know about labchirp, good one!

Never heard of LabChirp, but it's a great little tool. I might just use this instead of as3sfxr... or maybe just keep both in my repertoire.

I love this little game! Definitely needs some music and sound effects, but I love the puzzle elements. Very well done!

I love the premise of this, it's quirky, unique, and fun take on a platform game. The art is pleasing, and putting in/drawing out of tanks I find rather satisfying. I like the timer element. But noticed there is no HP/heath bar system? Obviously, sound effects and ambient music would have added to what already was great fun to play! Well done.

Best graphics so far! :-)

First of all, good job on the pixel art. The spaceship is really good. Also, the main game loop has an interesting premise with the ink management and all, but I felt like backtracking at the end of the level can be a little repetative. It shows the amount of ink you collected, and encourages well managed resources, but backtracking through an empty room can be a bit long.

Developer

Hey great feedback! Didn't thought much of the backtracking part but you're right :)

Submitted

Maybe you can add to levels a second room at the end. to deposit ink.

Weird premise (inhale ink? spit it at enemies, which then turn into ink? and that ink powers the ship?) but executes well on it. And as there are multiple ink colours it becomes a little bit of a puzzle game about resource management. The graphics are well done; shame there's no sound!

At first I thought this was a ship game, but it really is a unique game with he ink. FYI, I found you via the Godot FB group ;)
