I really enjoyed that! Nice design, and growing new platforms was a really interesting way to build up a level. It felt a bit punishing to have to completely start over again if you fall off the bottom of the level – it would be nicer if you lose a heart and get respawned at your previous location.

Pitfall checkpoints were in the to-do list but unfortunately I had to cut due to time limitations, but I might implement it someday. Glad you enjoyed the game and thanks for your feedback!

Smart game design. I felt very accomplished when I got to the end, and failing felt like it was my fault. There was a good feeling of progression in such a short game too. My only complaint is the camera is a bit quick to snap on every level except the last one. Also, wish the music was louder. One of my favourite games this jam, though.

Developer

Wow, your kind words means a lot to me, I put great effort in the game design and the sense of progression of the challenge, building up to the last level. The camera is an experiment that I'm regretting now, will fix soon. Thanks for playing and commenting!

Very tight controls.

Damn that last level was hard, at least until I discovered you can just fall when getting the last thing.

Developer

All the game is just a prelude for that last level, I'm glad you  suffered and enjoyed it! Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

I really liked the platform appearing mechanic. Great art style, with great sfx! Nice job!

Developer

Happy you liked it! Thanks for your kind words!

Minimalist pixel asethetic and smooth animations are terrific. Nice marble effect in the background too. Controls are simple and perfect. Very high replayability. I agree with what Nodeg said about the camera when changing directions but it doesn't make it any less fun to play.

Developer

Glad you liked it! The background wasn't planned until the very end and it's based on multiple shaders. The camera is a well known bug I'm hoping to fix soon before jam time. Thanks for playing and leaving a comment!

Pretty fun.  I found the camera a bit jarring when changing direction, but thought the game was well executed.

Developer

Glad you had fun with it. Yeah, the camera bug is on the list, will fix it after the jam. Thanks for playing!

Nice game man the name kinda throws off but the gamplay is good

Developer

What's wrong with the name? Maybe there's something lost in translation? (English is not my first language, so...)
Anyway, thanks for playing!

Very cool looking game with a trippy background. I liked that there was some choice which plants to grow and that the difficulty ramped up as the enemies spawned with the plants. Well done.

Developer

Thank you, I tried to balance the difficult from zero to hero, but maybe the steep is too high... I don't know if someone has seen (and finished) the last level!

Great art and atmosphere, lovely take on platformers. Great sounds and music too!
The environment seemed to jerk a little when moving around, not sure if it was intended. Otherwise a smooth experience, good job!

Developer

I'm really excited reading your comment, thank you for playing. The problem with the camera is something I'm aware and will try to fix in a future release post-jam, I hope this doesn't make it unplayable. Glad to know you liked it.

This was amazing!!! One of my favorite takes on a platformer that I've seen! I though it was a really creative way to incorporate the theme and the concept is easy to understand, but is made endlessly interesting by how cool the designs of your puzzles are! Everything felt very smooth and the difficulty definitely felt appropriate and scaled up well!
On top of all of that the music was very fitting and the sfx were great! Really fit the artwork and world that you built. Congrats and thanks for this game! I had a lot of fun playing it!

Developer

Wow, I'm glad you liked it and had fun with it, your words mean a lot... And I really meant it. It's been very hard times and I put what little energy I had into making this little game as intereseting as possible. I'm kinda proud of the results, but reading your comments gives purpose to what I do. Really, thank you for playing, commenting and for your kind words.

A nice and simple game! I enjoyed it.

Developer

Glad to hear that! Thank you!

It's a very good game!

The controls are responsible, the graphics are beauty, Sfx/Music are very atmospherical (seriosly, the combination is just perfect!) and... OMG, this level design! In the second stage, i realy try to make some differents routes and it works perfectly!

I just want to know how to make a level design like you =O.

Congrats for the great work!

Developer

Wow, I'm not crying, you're crying. That comment caught me off guard, haha, thank you. I tried my best to make the levels feel right, and the player controls smooth and nice. Happy that you liked it so much, thanks for playing and commenting.

looks and feels nice good job. camera felt weird to me when going from right to left

Developer(+1)

I tried to allow the character to look a bit further but I messed a bit with the camera when switching directions. I'll try to revisit this in the near future. Thanks for your kind words and playing!

A pretty cool platform puzzler. The design of your levels were well done. It looks great visually. My only complaint (and this is just personal prefence) is that "jump" wasn't mapped to the spacebar.

Developer

Oh, I had in mind some customization of configuration, but it fell off the scope due to time, together with joystick/pad support. I'll revisit this later. Glad you liked it! Thanks for playing and your support!

Nice concept within the theme! I really appreciated that the vines serve both as decoration for the growing platforms, but as as a clear guide for the level, that is, where to go next, where the platforms are located etc. I felt like I never had to gamble some jump. I always knew which areas was unlocked. Very well though design. The whole game also have a nice cohesive atmosphere with graphics, theme and music

Developer

Glad you liked it! That was the intent of the vines, purely hints of the path to follow. I think the platforming alone is enough challenge. Thanks for your encouraging words!

Great Game LOved the build as you go

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! First I had the idea of the plant growing, but then... why not make our main character grow? At a cost, of course.

Submitted(+2)

That was great. The idea of creating your level as you go is neat and opens up lots of possibilities. I like the sprite you created for the main character.

Developer

Thank you for your comment! It's my first time creating my own 2D animated sprites and Im quite proud of the result. Glad you liked it!

Submitted(+2)

I loved the idea of building the scenario as you progress.
The gameplay is really really tough, the mechanics are easy to learn but really hard to master.
Overall, pretty good! I've felt challenged by the level design and that made me try again more and more. Not a casual game, tho.

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it! This time I focused in the basics of a platformer and trying to make an interesting level design, from tutorial until the very final challenge. I don't know if the difficult is too high or the controls aren't all that great. The fact I could pass the levels blinded me. Thanks for playing!
