Very cool and original idea, I think the biggest improvement that could be made would be if it shows you which of the three channels is currently selected, although it looks like you already did it based on another comment here. Overall this is a pretty cool little game!
Original :)
One of the more unique games from the jam. Despite the tutorial, it still took a bit to figure out what was going on which could be improved on. Also, some elements, such as which wave is chosen and the health bar, need a bit more clarity on their design. You still did a good job!
I have done some improvements. Thanks for the feed back.
Very difficult little game, but an incredibly original concept!
Very cool game! It was a bit hard to get into it, but once I understood everything, it turned out to be quite fun!
I'd like an indication of what input you have selected. I also think it would help the game a lot if the health wasn't affected once the wave left the screen on the left, but immediately when you deform the wave by subtracting. That way, you'd immediately know that you did good or poorly.
Interesting concept, good job!
nice concept. hard and challenging at the same time
Unique and interesting theme. Though it’s really hard to keep track of, especilly which line is selected.
Tough challenge here. Keeping track of when to switch waves while also balancing the current one takes some solid concentration
Very interesting concept, didnt really understand what the Q W and E were for and could get very difficult.
Pretty unique idea, although I'd like to see more feedback on which channel is actually active, it's quite hard to keep track of it while also countering the wave that's coming in.
Flattening the curve is always desirable!
Such a nice concept. I like both the syle and the idea of the game.
Maybe having to move your cursor through the line instead of flattening it can improve it, because it get confusing, but that´s just my personal opinion . Cool game overall !
thank you for playing.
I thought that might be too easy but I look into it.
This is a really original one - had a hard time at the start due to not having much feedback in regards to whether I had Q, W or E active. Couldn't really get a hang of it and the game beat me hard - but it's a really cool take. Congrats on the submission!
Really creative usage of the theme! As others have said it might need some balancing, considering that one misinput might literally cost you your life...
Love this take on the theme, really original! Pretty hard to play, but mess with the balancing a bit and you have a fun game.
I am working on improvements right now.
Check the game after the jam and hopefully it will be improved .
Interesting game, though challenge and the art left me slightly confused i eventually ggot the hang of it
Nice implementation of the theme! Very VERY challenging though, but the art/music was amazing, well done!!!
there is no sound in the game.
i like to rate both art and music together. Thats why i put a "/" slash, because both sound and art group together for the presentation category of the rating. Now that you mention it, some sound would make the game a whole lot better!
oh thank you for the feedback.
no problem! Have you checked my message on discord?
Cool idea! I do agree re: other comments about the difficulty. Nice work!
This game is extremely difficult. The tutorial is admittedly a bit lacking, but given time, this is a great challenge and quite fun to play. I still dont know what the curves on the main screen do, however. I think more playtesting could have helped you quite a bit. Congrats on a job well done!
It took me a while to understand what to do. After I did, I realized that it is quite difficult, because if you move a tad early or late, you make it far worse. This leaves no cognitive capacity to keep an eye on the right portion of the screen.
I would suggest a more "forgiving" control over the line, where pulling the line in the opposite direction a bit in front or behind a spike lowers the spike as well. Maybe a wider area around the cursor being affected by it?
I did not want to make it two easy.
making the effect area bigger is a nice idea it could work.
wen I was imagining the game. I though making the wave go straight will be easy but I was wrong.
