Nice game! I like the controls are not that responsive but playable and they make a challenge on each level. Well done!

Nice! I do like it when games are comprised of a few different mini-games, and this was quite an original take on the theme which ended up being fun. If you follow it up post-jam, I'd say the most important thing to add would be some audio, and maybe tighten up the spawning / jumps in the first section of the game. Great already though :)

im not that good with skill-based games, but i still had a lot of fun! great presentation and sound :D really liked the idea :D

Best Rate Criteria: Originality

I finished the game. Needs some polish here and there, especially in level design (lacks some feature to make it interesting and a hard polish on your core loop)

Otherwise I put Originality on top thanks to the effort of making a controller something that may have a heart, a will, a purpose on its own: that's unexpected and I loved that. It's very subjective but I love that kind of stuff, so valiant effort taking this as the core idea! (It can seem an obvious choice regarding the theme but I assume it's not as simple in its design and execution)

Great artstyle and good premise - slightly too tricky because of how little you can see the blocks coming ahead, and also a shame that the jump you 'learn' in level 1 is then not carried over, would be nice if the abilities all were used by the end

The art style is good, but the gameplay loop feels clunky at times, I couldn't even get past the first level!

Thank you! The perils of not playtesting until 2PM for a 3PM game jam submission… lol. Thanks for playing!

The style looks great! But I had some issues on the second level; it was impossible for the player because I was completely blocked off by the obstacles.

Fun story and concept :)

A little dull though, I think having different obstacles would the levels more interesting

This is a really cool aesthetic! Although the difficulty seems way too hard right off the bat.

This art style is comfortable for me. I finish it and I feel the first level is most hardest. Great work!

Yeah, I second that. Maybe 2nd and 3rd level could use some acceleration? Also: sound would be awesome;)

Developer

Agree - the difficulty curve is all messed up lol. Also the game being super randomized doesn’t help…. Thanks for the comment!

that was fun. nice art 2.

Liked it. Why did the controller forget how to jump tho? Utilizing the jump on the Up/Down and Left/Right levels might've added another dimension. But nice work!

Developer

good point! just to finish it up, I ended up having to turn off gravity for the up/down, left/right levels, bc the physics system I used made it pretty buggy. definitely would have benefited from keeping the jump in, I agree :)

Pretty hard game. Love the art style!

I love the minimalistic art style!

Cute little game! I like the nice and clean minimal infographics style and concept, I've never seen a sentient controller as a protagonist before! Good job!

=) thank you!
