After studying digital electronics for a while, I thought this wasn't going to be a fun game, but it indeed was hahaha really liked it, and there's lot of potential as well! I particularly liked the computer too, it added a layer of personality to the game! It just speaks too slow in my opinion. Interested to see if you are going to work some more on this game :)
Really cool game! The setting was really engaging and reminiscent of hacking minigames. The music was really sweet too, kept me very engaged. The puzzles were very well designed and gently introduced new mechanics to the game.
If I had to give some feedback it would just be a little bit of feedback to show what is currently highlighted or what actions are available as I ran into a bit of confusion when trying to draw wires.
Overall awesome experience, thanks for making it!
Great puzzle game! I wish the text helper could have spoken a little quicker as I was reading quicker than it was typing. But that's such a small thing, especially considering the whole 48 hours thing. Great job!
Hey thanks a lot for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :) We'll keep that in mind in a future build along with the other bugs !
Awesome game! The controls were hard to get a hang of but once I did I had a lot of fun!
Thank you so much for your feedback! We'll keep that in mind :)
Really great puzzle design, really addictive once you get into it! Slightly tricky to get hang of the controls at first, but once you do it's a great idea
Thank you so much playing and the feedback! Hopefully we can do more about the controls in a later build to make it more intuitive x)
very cool puzzle game! It took me a while to figure out the controls, but once I did, it was very enjoyable!
Thank you for the feedback! We'll work on making the controls tighter and more natural in the future :)
I can't believe you made such a challenging puzzle game in two days! I got stuck on level 22, but this is still the best Game Jam game I've played so far.
Thank you so much for playing, love to hear that people found it challenging but still very much doable!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the experience :)
really fun to play, nice game level design :p
sometimes click to add wiring isn't quite work tho, need to create many tiny segment to get it working
Thanks for playing and your kind words!
Really appreciate the critique, we'll work on making the controls more intuitive and natural. :)
Very fun! I like the quality of life mechanics like how when you hit a checkpoint you are automatically transferred into edit mode. Its the little things. Some very clever levels, like level 10 with the misdirection, really got me there. A few things i could see improved, for one the text box with the character is a little small, but it has important information on it, so it kinda just gets lost. The way the wire works is somewhat confusing, but its ok. And i feel like there had to have been some way you could have done away with having to switch between edit and wire entirely, but i cant exactly explain how i think it could be done. I also experienced a bug in lvl 14 where it wouldnt let me drag the blue card around the bottom unless i moved it really slowly. Other than that i had a great time, and i loved the ending!
Yeah, the movement does feel pretty weird at times. Thanks for the feedback on that! We really wish we had more playtesters before the jam was over as this is definitely something we should have kept in mind.
I agree the textbox is rather important, we'll look at how to scale everything so that it strikes a balance between not cluttering the screen and showing all relevant information. Communicating with the player is super important for things like these haha!
Thanks so much for your kind words again :)
Wow I found your game to be very addicting, this is the game I spent most time on out of all the games from this jam. Awesome!
Thank you so much for playing :D
Nice puzzle here, and I like these funny messages in that terminal screen at the top.
Although it seems like wirin' mode is slightly bugged and that's why I couldn't finish the third level: I've opened two bottom doors but couldn't connect the chips. With some fiddling I got it later though.
Good job!
Yeah sorry the wiring mode got so clunky ! Thanks for the feedback we really appreciate it :)
Super cool, I like the character and the puzzles, well formulated for a jam game *thumbs up* my only critique is that some of the bounding box collisions for when the card resets to its original position could be taken back a little, I think for example the bottom of level 13 felt like I was playing operation while other levels centered around the middle felt fine. Keep up the good work!
Thanks a ton for the pointers! We totes should look back on the colliders you're right, or at least make the keycards not zoom all the way back to where you last picked them up haha.
We'll keep that in mind if we work on updating our build! Thank you for playing the game!
cool ass game! beautiful and quite nice to figure things out!
thanks for playing the game! Glad you enjoyed it :):)
AAAAAAh I've finished it! Absolutely loved every bit of it. The level design was pretty neat, and the humor was on point.
A few suggestions!
Thanks for playing and thanks for the suggestions!
Unfortunately we kinda stumbled towards the end so there was still a lot of polish we didn't manage to get in. We have a lot of ideas for a post jam version, will make sure to add yours to the list!
Thanks a ton for the suggestions!
Will keep all of this in mind for the future! Ctrl Z sounds like a great idea, and I can definitely think of interesting puzzles with it. As for points 1,3,4 and 5 those are all stuff we should iron out in a future release. Thanks for pointing them out.
We can't answer 6 for... reasons ;)
But you did bring up a valid point of there being some levels where we have a few bugs pertaining to the clipboard, simple overlook on my part haha.
Once again thanks so much for your feedback :)
Awesome game!
Hey thanks for playing the game dude! Appreciate the support :)
Very clever. I really enjoyed it.
Glad you had fun! Means a lot ;)
Awesome game! Some of the puzzles gave me Talos Principle vibes. I agree with some of the other criticism mentioned, but overall this is super fun! Definitely the best I've played so far!
Hey thanks for playing man glad you liked it
Got stuck on Level 15 but I'll be back to finish the game. Really fun, amazing work! Love the humour too.
Thanks for playing!
I enjoyed the game, and would definitely check out a fleshed-out version if you decide to make one; I just think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I could spend more time engaged with the puzzles instead of the controls.
An "undo" function or Ctrl+Z would help a lot. It's very frustrating (& difficult; I have trouble with short-term memory) having to retrace my steps from the beginning just because I hit X instead of C, or needed to double-check what effect something would have.
Also the text scrolls very slowly and the instructions are often unclear. I still don't totally understand what the different colors of wire mean (if anything).
Hey, thanks for playing!
We had a lot more ideas for more ctrl keys to add, along with many more quality of life features. However as game jams go those didn't make the cut in time :p. An undo button just barely didn't squeeze in.
Thanks for the feedback.
