How does your game fit the theme?
As a drunk thief, your movement is often out of control, causing you to stumble and crash into things. Not the best for a stealthy robber.

Very well done! :D

Cool idea, I had fun playing :D I was going to suggest to use a different sound for every object that you touch, but also the idea of the exploding cat is fun :D Good job also with the art and the level design!

Pretty great idea! I just had a little problems with de colliders, but I liked the game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Changing the colliders to make the game more smooth is an update the team has planned. Everyone seems to be getting stuck in the doorways.

Submitted

Punting is cool! Don't quote me on that.

Developer

I enjoyed watching you play the game on stream! Glad you enjoyed it even if the movement speed could be improved some.

Cool idea, although I wish it had a bit more content. Drunken movement could be more wobbly and different items break in different way. With a little more polish it could be a really fun game! Nice job :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! More content is something the team is considering for the future. Items breaking in different ways was planned but we ran out of time and had to resort to just making everything explode. With the drunken movement, we're walking a fine line between control and craxyness. If it's more drunk but to crazy, the game may not be as fun. The team is looking into options for more wobbly movement. Thanks again!

"Final Rating: Destroyer of Cats"
I needed this by written form since years and now finally I got it.

I enjoyed the game and really like the core idea. Maybe the noise-slider could have been a bit slower to recover and it would be a greater challenge. Generally speaking: fantastic game <3

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The team will be looking into ways to adjust the noise slider to make it more challenging.

Very cool game! I loved the idea!

An original idea, fun to play but i felt sorry for the cat why it stands on the doorway :)

I like the idea! Fun game

nice concept, but becomes a little repetitive and boring after the 3rd/4th house. Good game tho.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! What do you think could make it less boring in the later houses. More mechanics? Tighter time limit? A shop to spend the score on for items? Any suggestions would be nice!

Submitted

Nice! I really like the idea, tho it got a little bit boring after a while. But its a great game!

LOL the exploding cat in the beginning caught me off-guard

charming game, well done!

Very stylish and cute game. The amount of details put into each mechanic is very surprising given the limited 48 hour window. Good work!

The first time I kicked a cat and it exploded, I felt so horrible I had to laugh to relieve stress. The level where I got to collect (and hopefully keep, I don't know this guy's home life) 6 cats really made up for it. I finally felt like I was not, in fact, the monster I fear I'll one day become.

Developer(+1)

My head-cannon is that the guy keeps everything he steals and wakes up the next morning after a bad hangover and just accepts the fact he has new stuff.

Submitted

Yes! I love that

I tried my best to lose but I am just too good at controlling my liquids ? :D

RIP Mr. Kitty.

Developer

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Great entry! Had a good laugh when the cat exploded :D

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! The exploding cats was an impulse decision and I think it paid off massively!

Submitted

I think I was better in breaking stuff than stealing! But had a lot of fun

Confound it! This was the most devilish game I have encountered so far in this jam mate!

The drunk Play button. The cats on the door ways. The explosion gunshots! THE DESTRUCTION LEVELS I MEAN COME ON MAN! THIS IS CRAZY! Using the mechanic and the world you made, and giving the player a chance to just go at it! To savour the forbidden fruit!

What cracked me up was the random cross-kicks as I am waddling out, tip-toing around all kinds of random objects, and hiccup-KICK to the side, and there goes a knife through the wall.

I applaud and bow before you dear Developer. You have won.

Developer

This post was amazing and single-handedly made my day! I'm glad you got a good kick out of the game and enjoyed the bonus levels! Thank you and good luck with your entry!

Developer

Hi spoonsweet, I also helped develop this game and I almost cried when I saw how much you enjoyed the game. I am really happy you enjoyed it and I wish you luck with your game as well!
