Great idea and very fun to play around with.

Nicely done, I never imagined that I would play such type of game on this jam hahah, and nice illustrative tutorial! That's really important

Cool game!

This was a really nice concept for a game. It was definitely out of control but at the same time very calming. This fits the game jam theme in a really unique and nice way. Good job!

That was a very simple, but fun concept. I had a good laugh when the bird just kidnapped my seedling! Simple and pretty art-style that was really nice to look at. And some fun but simple gameplay. Awesome job!!

Very nice and chill game! I like the mechanics and it really makes you feel out of control! It is a rather simple game, and except the known bugs I would suggest fixing the UI so it works with different resolutions.

On a more somber note, I wouldn't say this game has a future outside of a game jam, as there are so many of these types of games!

On a happier note though, it is a very good jam game, and it fits the theme very nicely! Good job friend!

Yeah, it's pretty much a throw away, though I may still revamp it a bit and make it a mobile almost meditation assistant :D  The game I have actually been working on for a bit would have been perfect for the Jam if I wasn't already two months into development.  Thanks for the nice comments :)

This game is calm and chill.  And my cotton seeds just go POOOOOOOOOOF!

This game makes me go YES!

I really like the mood and feel of this game, honestly! It was pretty chill and relaxing just watching the lil' thing float on through the world. The colours also work really nicely together, overall I just love the presentation/aesthetic! Nice work! :D

Also, here's the bad fan art:

This is an absolutely adorable take on the theme. I love it when small games suggest a goal, but leave things open enough to let you just play around in the space for a bit: I spent a couple rounds going for distance, a few trying to go high, and a bunch just kind of gliding around seeing what kind of stuff there was to see.

I think it'd really benefit from some music, a really cohesive aesthetic throughout the UI and everything, and really leaning into the relaxing experience with a lot of variety to see in the environment, but as a jam game? It does everything it needs to.

Thank you very much.

The worst part is it has both music and a wind effect.   I realize now that I had forgotten to include the options menu in the tutorial and somehow in my last save I defaulted the music state to off.   I will update the description with more detailed instructions and how to turn the music on.

Oh my! Sorry to hear about that mishap. I'll definitely take a second look later, to see what it's like with the sounds going.

Very interesting aproach on the theme. Only thing that i miss is some relaxing music, but overall very well made game. Nice work!

And the spacebar bug isn't really bad, i would rather say it's more like an alternetive game mode ;)

That was a lot of fun! It was a simple premise, and there was a lot of ways to try pushing the seedlings up and forwards–I spent a few rounds just trying to go as high as I could!! Good job.

Very relaxing game. Intresting take on a theme. Keep up the good work.

Very chill game!

Nice game! When making my game I obsessed over physics and it's difficult to get the feeling you want sometimes. You nailed the feeling here of being something light floating at the mercy of the wind.

This is quite a relaxing game to play. I really liked the concept and the idea you can eject your seeds was very well executed! I think if you worked on this further and got some nice music/audio and art in there it could be a great game. Good job!

Seems like this game has the potential to be a quite relaxing experience, which is a side of out of control i haden't really thought of; just floating with the wind and seeing how far it will take you. On the other hand, I also got a lot of enjoyment from abusing a bug in the game when you spam the spacebar... Not very relaxing, but suprisingly entertaining :)

Developer

Oh my god that bug is amazingly fun.   Thanks for pointing that out, I knew there was a danger to changing the "win" condition at 30 minutes before the deadline.   That all said I doubt I ever would have found that.

Seconded -- I'm here for interesting interpretations of the prompt beyond the typical overwhelmed and changed controls options.

Very simple but well-made game. A bit of a QWOP vibe but slightly less uncontrollable. The bird does fly backwards if you pass its spawn point, though. With some more depth, it could be developed into something as well-regarded as Getting Over It.

Developer

Thanks for the tip about the bird,  I definitely had issues getting that rotation code right.

Hey, with only 48 hours, I'm impressed. My game has a bird noise but I never had time to draw the actual bird -- so at least you got that far!
