Awesome game, one of my favorites! Sometimes the enemies get stuck running into the gong, and also the dash doesn't seem useful enough to use. Other than that, its great!

Developer

Thank you for the appreciation :)

Submitted

I love how it is too frenetic, but I think the movement is a little odd  or maybe it is how the camera follows the character. Now this can be a really good couch game

Developer(+1)

We intend to turn in into exactly that :)

Submitted

Looks like you are on the right way!!!

This is fun and well difficult, I think the player moves a little too quickly.  Other than that its excellent

Developer

Thanks for trying it out and for the feedback :)

My pleasure its a fun game.  Gets really intense.

Submitted

I liked the idea. But I thnik that movement needs to be improved.
But except this it is cool game. Well done!

P.S Waitnig for multiplayer!)

I will be glad if you can take a look at our game. We actually have the same name: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/460954

Developer

Multiplayer will come with certain improvements at some point :)

We will check your game!

Really cool and fun!

Thank you!

A really cool idea , it needs a little bit improvement .I wonder if it possible to make it a multiplayer game .

Btw, well done !

Developer(+1)

Multiplayer is the next planned step in development :) Glad you liked it!

Fast-paced hammer throwing madness.

For my taste a bit to fast but over time you get used to the controls. I loved the animations and the overall thrashy style (trashy style in a positive way :D ). Good work :D

If you want to, please check out my game as well. Would be cool to hear your feedback :)

Thank you for your comment :) We will check your game! At the moment the only available machine is a linux computer, so we can't test it immediately.

"Oh, it's just another one bullet shooter, basically."

How wrong I was.

It's a perfect symphony of panic and chaos. I love it. From the initial moments of deadly madness to the later stages where you're tripping over the corpses of your enemies, hunting for your last victims, this game is great fun. Nice work!

Developer(+1)

We love the "perfect symphony of panic and chaos" moniker :D

Their idle animations are sooooo funny xD

Developer

We tend to agree :D

Quite original i gotta say !

And i really like the fact that the game spends no time waiting around, once you hit that gong, it's on !! And its total mayhem, The controls felt quite responsive my only gripe would be that the aiming can feel a tiny bit imprecise and this makes the game a bit too hard considering the non stop chaos that's going on, other than that not really much negatives.

The presentation is awesome, and i liked the little details like the occasional "wilhelm scream" classic :p ! not to mention the reference from the game title itself.

Just tweak it a bit for the aiming to balance it better but other than that really "Can't touch this ... " * mucis rolls* Well done :) !

Developer

Thank you, we are glad you like it :)

Very original idea. I like the graphics and voice acting as well.

I think you should improve throwing though. It felt little imprecise (or maybe I'm just bad).

If you're interested, check out my game: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/461829

Thank you for your comment, we will check your game out :)

Really enjoyable game, I had a lot of fun and laughs while playing it. While I don't think the concept is too original, the execution and presentation were stellar. The description is 10/10, the adherence to the theme is 100%, and the Wilhelm scream had me giggling like an idiot. One thing I might change would be the very sudden death transition, and I didn't realize I was playing a battle royale at the the beginning so maybe some text explaining that would be useful. Those are minor points though, this was great and I loved it!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for playing the game and giving feedback :)

We'll definetly work on a better game over screen / transition. Thank you for your time!

A little too laggy for my taste for my potato computer :( I would have played it a lot more if not for that. I really enjoyed the game though. I wish there were more AI-based battle royale games.

This game is well designed. The fact that you have to throw your hammer to start the game crates a frantic start since you're unarmed. The dash mechanic is essential but doesn't make things too easy.

The samurai music, the Wilhelm scream, and the premise make for humorous combination, actually it's the most humorous game I've played yet.

Developer

Your appreciation for humour makes our meme-driven sound guy happy. We are having a hard time containing him, please don't encourage him this much :P

We're sorry the game was laggy for you, considering all the problems we were facing, optimizing resources was out of our reach unfortunately =/

everything is good and juicy game play...  share it more in community to get it rated by others... I did my duty to get you noticed...

all the best for the rest of the jam

This game is really fun! It's well polished and funny and I can imagine it as a multiplayer game like gangbeasts! Well done!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words! We are currently considering future plans, and turning this into a multiplayer is one of the things being considered :)

Whether it fits the theme enough is up to you to decide and we're ok with 1 star on adherence to the them. We thought it fit the them in the beggining: 1 hit kill, 1 level, 1 ammo, 1 sprite (kinda it's 1 character model) and all that.  At some point we weren't as sure about that and just went where the game took us. In the end we think the theme was quite broad and we do fit in it but none of the ways we fit are really interesting interpretations of the theme (confirmed by many games with the same idea of only one). But honestly that part wasn't as important to us. We focused on making the game fun to play and fixing as many bugs as we could before we ran out of time.

So we're glad you think it's one of the most fun games you've played in this jam and we'd like to encourage you to try our other games if you ever get bored and need a short and sweet game to fill your time.

Great game. feels very polished. catchy music and a fun concept. well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the kind words. We're really glad you like the music and our sound designer sends special thanks :)

Beautiful graphics, AI are also quite smart making the game very difficult.

A nice final screen is missing "YOU WON!".

In conclusion, it follows the theme and for being done in 48 hours it is very nice, congratulations.

Something like this?

A few more minutes before panicking for the submission period would've helped this get in :)
Thanks for the comment!
