very fun use of time mechanics, would like to have the controls randomize more between runs where maybe you have to read more instructions on how to work the thing each time

Interesting idea, I like the graphics and the minimal use of interactivity. The time is always a beautiful thing to play on! Nice job, guys!

Awesome idea, very funny and very clever design. How did you come up with this? Did you know from the start that the camera will zoom out more and more, revealing your next option or was that something discovered during the development?

Developer

Yes we knew from the beginning we would do the zooming out progression in addition to the slowdown mechanic. It's actually something I show in my development commentary. The first build of the game is literally testing the zoom out feature :)

By the way, I absolutely love your game. I think it is my favourite in the jam (and I think the only I actually kept after playing it)

Thats pretty good! It all works so good together. You don't have time for complex stuff at the beginning, but you can't even see it anyway. The more time you have, the more complex are the tasks you can see. Very clever!

Thanks for the praise, again! There's going to be a post-jam version after the votings are closed, if you're interessted.

Great art style, you have a great game in your hands, nice job in this jam!

Good idea, realy nice job!

Suggestion: make the game restart if the player clicks before it has begun.

After a couple tries, you realize you can just keep clicking where the red button would be when in the "3... 2... 1..." screen, so you lose little to no time. Make it a reaction game instead, and perhaps even vary the time that screen is shown to avoid predictability.

The game I never thought I needed. I WANT MORE

Really cute game and great art! Gave me flashbacks of those Impossible Quiz flash games haha

Hectic game with super cute graphics! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam 2019 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Wow, it's quite stressful, but I really liked it ahah

I also made a little video compilation of games from the game jam and you're in it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLyp4qxT7Uc

thank you so much! All the other games you picked for your video are so good! Glad you enjoyed playing :)

One of my favourite games of the Jam so far! Has a great sense of personality and I really FELT like a dog trying to save earth.

Laughed at the strong ending and ended up speedrunning it to see how fast I could save our earth.

Amazing work!

An absolutely adorable mini-game with adorable art to boot. Really rewards you for discovery in a satisfying way.

Does anyone know how to solve the 5x5 pannel?

Developer(+1)

Have a look around- there is a clue to help you figure out the pattern on another part of the ship ;)

Submitted

I've seen the clue, but thanks.

Developer(+1)

the solution is to follow the yellow line, and turn the keys on at the points where the line turns. I hope you can make it to the end- the winscreen is one of my favourite bits! Thanks for playing :)

Finally finished it! Thank you! Altough I had already given it 5 stars before I finished it, so I can't make it up to you.

By the way I found your game because I'm looking at creators that impressed me last year. You never dissapoint!

Developer(+1)

Hooray! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing and for your nice comments :)

Very cool!!!!

The beginning was a bit rough in terms of just being able to figure out what I was supposed to do... but I love the idea and how cute it is and the random generation. Reminds me a lot of Spaceteam!

This concept can be easily expanded to turn into its own thing. I love it!

This is the kind of beautiful polished gem that could only come out of a game jam. I love how it zooms out as you solve puzzles, and there's a couple different ones available at each zoom level. I'm also a fan of how it starts of frantic, but eventually you've slowed things down enough that you have time to figure stuff out. And a hand-drawn art style to boot. Super cool.

I really like how you took this and could definitely see this becoming a full-fledged game with multiple scenarios and lots of rng. Wouldn't call it completely original as it is very similar to Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, but the time dilation of a single second manages to keep it fresh with similar but intensified stakes and delivers a nice take on the theme too.
