I haven't seen a mechanic like this before and it made me think, especially when the shield enemies came in. Controls are easy to pick up and tuned nicely. Congrats on your submission!

While it doesn't feel as gameboy as it could... what a great game! I love the mechanics of it <3 Well done!
Woah this was a ton of fun! Once you get used to the tp mechanic this becomes a really cool game to spend the time. If anything I'd say rotating sprites don't look to good with GB aesthetic but cheers! I'd love to see this one fully fleshed out! (Also the game would benefit from more on-hit feedback or some enemy hp bars, ones that needed more than one hit felt like you were doing nothing to them haha)
This is a really cool concept! It's a fun variation on this time of shoot em up. I got to 400 points!
This is a great idea. Combining an aiming reticle with a teleport target. It takes some time to get used to the effective weapon range, but at the end I was teleporting behind the shield guys like a boss. Great work!
Loved this. Teleporting was great fun. Only thing that let it down for me was the repetitive music.
Teleporting is super cool but man is it difficult to aim. This would probably work better outside of the gameboy with a second stick for aiming. Then the triggers could be used for shooting and teleporting.
Would love to see this concept fleshed out even further, really fun!
Very cool concept!
Nice variety of enemies that challenge you in different ways, and good sound effects.
The music got a bit repetitive after a while, but not in an annoying way.
I missed having visual feedback from the enemies when they take damage, especially the boss! I didn't know if it was taking damage or is there some gimmick with the exploding drones that I should be doing.
It took me a while to get used to the controls, I got confused about movement directions every time I teleported, but I think that's just me being me.
Really solid game with responsive movement, great enemy types and sound design that should be studied! I thoroughly enjoy this kinda stuff and would love to see something done with this foundation! Great submission!
That was a lot of fun! I loved it
The gameplay was simple but really efficient for this type of game. Using the teleport and shooting in the back of the shield enemies was so satisfying.
It got redundant after I fought the boss a second time. I was able to get to 1150 points on that run. But still, I appreciated my playthrough.
The 3D effect on the sprites was by far my favorite part. It looked so good.
The music is a bit repetitive too after a long session. But hey, minor thing!
The gameplay rocks, good job on your submission!! If you update it, I'll revisit for sure!
Love the game, the teleporting mechanic really adds to the fun, i got addicted to it, probably gonna play it again from time to time, great job!
Great idea. Feels like a twin stick shooter even though there is only a d-pad and buttons.
With a few tweaks it can be a fun time-waster mobile game (virtual stick, and 2 virtual buttons )
Not sure if it is just a bug on my system but when I press enter on the game over screen it makes the game full screen, does not happen anywhere else. (not affecting my score)
I love it!! This is such a good idea, never seen this in a game before! gfx is great as well, so overall well done!!
Really nice, simple mechanical game with tons of potential. A hit vfx would be a really nice addition since feedback is a bit wonky on the bigger enemies. Small enemies feel super satisfying to kill.
Gameplay is definitely this games strong point and I'd love to see the concept expanded, perhaps with different types of ammunition or teleports!
Solid, solid game.
This is an excellent arcade design right here. The pull between aiming your shot and placing where to teleport clash against each other in the right way that makes it tough to pick up, but fun to stick with and master. It took me a couple rounds but I was able to beat two cycles of the boss. There are only a few enemies but their strengths play well with each other, the shielding enemies and mines force you to teleport frequently and carefully.
I appreciate the ability to toggle the Game Boy pixelation at the press of a button, the visuals are overall very nice and readable. Definitely a lot of potential in the concept here, a roguelike version of this game with upgrades, dungeon rooms, obstacles, and more bosses would be a hit. Kind of like Monolith, but with the restricted aim controls and a world design built around teleporting. Really well done.
