Nice work. Fun little game and the gnome theme fits the tiny world idea well. The pixel art and music work really well together and it all feels cohesive. The pathing was a bit tricky to get used to and could do with some tweaks. Would be good to have a quick in-game tutorial as it took me a minute to figure out what to do. The core mechanics are solid and I managed to get through a couple of levels. Good job
A little confusing without any instructed tutorial, but the underlying concepts are all there and neat!
It was a fun game idea. It wasn't on the same level as Galcon, but it couldn't be for a gamejam. All the required pieces are there though, if you ever want to improve upon it.
For feedback I'd say: I too found that the pathing seemed to be a bit flaky at times. It worked well enough I finished 3 levels though.
I just wasn't sure whether I was assigning gnomes to a path or sending them on a new one. My advice, If it's a management game, then making reusable paths is a good way to go. If it's an action game, then making single-use paths makes more sense to me, then you can assign what ever percentage is in that town to go out.
On the third level I attacked the Red's mushroom house at the start, it went to 0 but didn't become mine (blue). Perhaps a bug there.
The music was nice, the graphics worked well for the game, and the enemy was smart enough. So lots of good things.
As others have said I also found the pathing a bit hard to get it to do what I wanted. However, I had fun and was determined to beat them at least one! It could also be cool if we could choose a gnome colour even if it was to choose between being red or blue as I love red, but for now BLUE GNOMES HYPE! haha Congrats on getting the game done ^.^
Great game! In terms of feedback routing feels a little cluncky and a tutorial in game would be nice, other than that great submssion!
The game is fun, but the routing is a bit confusing at first, but overall it's good.
Had a few issues where the paths didn't work the way I expected. Overall great little game with awesome aesthetics
Great idea, well done. Some feedback as well as MamaDespik said it would be nice when dragging the path to maybe see where you can't drop but other than that good job
I really enjoyed this! Definitely the kind of game I could get into if it were flushed out. I occasionally had some issues where I couldn't drop paths and I wasn't sure why, so a bit of additional feedback on where you can/can't click would be good. But I was able (and excited) to beat all the levels, so you clearly did something right :D
