Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice take on the theme.
The aesthetics are quite nice.
Good job on making this cute game.

Glad you like it, thanks for playing.

Interesting concept, nice visuals and music; good job!

Developer

Thank you!

Neat game!  I couldn't quite beat it, but I had fun kicking around the cold zone trying to stay alive as long as possible!  I think sometimes things spawning right on top of me was a bit confusing because something would just suddenly happen before I knew what was going on.  But overall, nice game!

Developer

The object spawning needs refinement, but I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

Thanks for playing!

Hey! I really liked your game! I found it a bit frustrating that food with the virus sometimes spawned right on top of me, and I had to go search for the cure, but overall, great game!

Developer

Thanks for playing.

Object spawning needs looking at, the spots they're supposed to spawn in at are off screen, but I think there's a lag time between te spawn being triggered and the item being loaded in, meaning you end up where it spawns in before it actually does spawn.  I think object pooling might help/fix this, but I need to figure out how to do it first.

Very unique concept, and the gameplay is cool ! :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed playing.

Nice game :) I enjoy the graphics too, the only thing I would have maybe liked to see is an animation when moving because I liked the wriggly idle animation. It's quite an interesting concept too that fits into the theme well.

Developer(+1)

When I was making the art I wasn't sure if it need a "wriggly" movement as I thought it looked pretty good moving around after I figured out lerping direction changes.

But it shouldn't be too big a job to make the change, just a bit more art.

Thanks for playing!

A nice game with simple but effective graphics and sound.

Developer

Thank you, glad you liked it.

Really like the visual style of this one!

Developer

Thank you!

I've not made a game in this art style before, so I thought I would give it a go.

Nice graphics and overall concept. spawn rate sometimes failed and start to produce feed cells constantly under player's cell.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback.

Object spawning is managed by scripts, a timer and "spawn markers" that are located outside the visible area attached to the player.

I think I need to figure out object pooling to decrease any lag between the timer triggering the spawn and the visible spawning of objects.  I think this might be the problem because the timer triggers a script that then triggers object spawning on the markers.

Submitted(+1)

it's triggered inside visible zone, so something wrong with it possibly.

Nice simple concept, took me a while to work out how to win the game, spent far too long in the middle not understanding why I'd want to go into the dangerous areas, but when I went there quickly saw the progress bar fill up when evolving.

Developer

Thanks for playing.

The only way to build resistance is to split in the danger zones.  I was trying to emulate both the idea of evolution and how bacteria gains resistance to things like antibiotics.

Hope you enjoyed it.

Had a nice time just squirming around munching on things.

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it.

Interesting concept but I was a little confused as to what I was supposed to gobble up and what I needed to avoid! An in-game tutorial or just some hints could go a long way here.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

There is a tutorial if you press "i", or "q" to pause and then choose the instructions option.

I previously had it on loading the level, but another player suggested it was a problem to have to restart the game to see it.

There's already one or two changes I plan to make after the jam so I will probably add it back to the start of the level while keeping the current functionality as well.

What a cool concept! Great job and look forward to seeing what else you come up with.

Thanks for playing.

I love the art, and the game is fun, although I found it difficult.

Developer

I've only beaten the game once myself.

Thank you playing.

Cool game! Chill with the great incorporation of the theme. The only thing in terms of feedback i'd love to give is some pitch variation on the click would be nice, i like clicking stuff and same pitch gets a bit annoying other than that great game

Developer(+1)

Thanks for having a look!

I hadn't even considered that kind of detail, definitely worth looking into.  Another option I could include is to give the option of disabling the clicking noise as well for those would rather not have it at all.  I added it to give feedback to clicking the screen, but I can see how it can get annoying.

I will try to implement it after the voting ends.

Very nice use of the jam theme.

Developer

Thank you!  And thanks for playing.

I don't know why I thought of playing as a single celled organism, but with the theme being "Tiny World", it just made sense to me.

Submitted(+1)

I love the unique objective and gameplay!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing!

When I thought "Tiny World", my mind took it literally and jumped to single celled organisms, and this was my attempt at making them a bit more interesting.

I will be looking at games tomorrow and will return the favour.

Pretty chill laid back game. My bit of advice relates to just that actually. I feel like the movement is a teeny bit slow and moving around takes a while but other than that, the ost and everything being done by yourself is awesome.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I agree the movement feels a little slow, but I wasn't sure if that was just my impatience with continuously testing various bits.

When the jam is over I will update it.

I'm really appreciating the comments about the music, it is one of the main things I've been working on over the last year and consistently feel like it's not quite enough when I make it, so thank you!

Submitted(+1)

Fun little game! Great job doing everything yourself in such a short time! Music was really chilled

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!

I tried to make the music relaxing, I felt a casual clicker game needed a relaxed bit of music, I'm glad ot worked!
