I also really like the team idea it just needs some animations. Also not sure if the knight got stuck on purpose when following.
Thanks for playing it and commenting!
The concept here is really cool! I did have a small glitch where when I left the first time the game did realize I had the knight with me and prompted me to restart. Thankfully, the second time around I was able to get through
Thanks for playing! Several people have commented that about accidentally leaving their saved character behind. Maybe a better design would be to not open an exit door until the full party catches up.
I really like this game. The only improvement you could make is maybe buffing the melee characters/nerf the range characters. Since the range characters feel unkillable compared to the melee. But overall a pretty fun game!
Thank you!
Nice idea of tiny dungeon and rescue game. Good job!
Thank you!
Yes I find the idea very good. I liked the mechanics of the game very much and I had fun playing it. Wish it had sound. Very Nice game idea overall !!
Thanks! I wish I'd had time for sound.
Bro, thats a superb idea. Suggest twist : you as lockpicker/trapper,rescue your friends and only them can be upgraded, not you.
Thanks! I like the upgrade idea.
Fun. Lack of sound was a bummer, but I loved that you used Godot! Couldn't rescue the Wizard even though he was with me, so quit then.
Thanks for playing!
The game suffers from a soundtrack gap, which would be nice for an update. Otherwise, the idea of having a team to help fight enemies through the levels is a good one. It would be a good feature if the allies and the player could cross each other so as not to get stuck in certain places.
Overall, the game needs a bit of polishing here and there, but it’s a decent game and it’s playable!
Thanks!
🟢 What I liked:
⏸️ Pause menu with a restart option scoped to the current level — super handy
👻 Enemy variety — the ghost was especially cool
🧙♂️ The different party members were a neat touch
💡 Awesome idea/concept!
🟡 Suggestions / Bugs:
🤖 NPCs jitter when colliding with objects
🚧 Missing collider on a wall in level 2 (see image below)
🚫 Got body-blocked by my party and stuck — the pause/restart saved me here
🏹 Archers don’t seem to do anything on the second level?
🧔 Rescued the barbarian but still failed the level when I hit the exi. Maybe I left him too far back (see image below)
🎮 Solid jam entry with a lot of charm. Looking forward to where it goes next!

(My notes — formatted with a bit of help from AI — hence the emoji explosion 💥)
Thanks so much for the detailed feedback and screenshots! You're absolutely right about the missing colliders and non-shooting archers on Level 2. The wall is an easy fix. Scratching my head about the archers. The jittery movement and NPCs crowding and blocking you are two things I need to look into. Thanks for playing and commenting!
Getting blocked by your own party was easier to fix than I expected! The Player and NPCs are all on the same physics layer and I had them colliding with all the other layers (world, player, enemies, weapons). I just removed the player mask from the Player scene. Now the player pushes the NPCs out of the way instead of colliding with them. You can still get swarmed by enemies, but you can't get trapped in a corner by your own party.
Nice work, that's great to hear!
Man, a little music loop and sound fx would have made a huge difference to this already fun game! I like the mechanic where your followers fight and you run cower behind them lol. It was sad to see the two empty carts at the end tho.
Thanks! I'm sad that I didn't have time for music and sound fx. They would really help the game.
I enjoyed playing this, great idea.
Thank you!
Great Tiny Game!! I enjoy it my axe guy die I don't know how but good job on this game.
Thanks! I liked your game too!
Hooray! I rescued the alien! 😄
Pretty fun game! It just needs some music and sound.
At one point, I walked into a cell and everybody followed me in. They blocked the door and I was stuck! LOL. Just something to watch out for.
Thanks! I happy you finished the game! NPCs hugging you do death in a corner is a problem I need to find a solution to.
I would make the monsters hit bit stronger the player. But in general, it is a solid small game.
Thanks! I wasn't sure about balancing the HP and attacks. I decided I want to err on the side of easy and fun so people would make it through more levels and maybe finish the game when judging it for the jam.
It's a decent game! I like the idea of growing a crew. The crew's AI is good. They follow you and attack enemies, and they do their job.
It took me a while to figure out how to open the door for the knight, but once I did, it became smooth. I'd add some character actions so it's not just running and dodging.
Good game, my friend!
Thank you! I wanted to have some more visual hints or instructions about finding a key to open the door, but I was overscoped on what I could finish already. Thanks for playing!
The biggest issue I had here was the possibility of getting stuck, but an interesting game.
Yes, that's something I need to work on. I also would like for the NPCs following you not to crowd you or each other. I might change things so each NPC is targeting a different corner around the player instead of all following the player's center location. Giving the player some limited attack could also help when getting ganged up on by enemies.
Nice game and concept. I got trapped in the corner by three enemies - I'd suggest to add maybe not a way to fight th, but maybe be able to push back as to not suffer continuous damage without being able to do anything.
Thanks! Getting crowded by enemies is the most aggravating thing that I need to solve.
Door opening was a bit confusing at first, but it's decent!
Thanks! You're not the only person confused by opening the door. I'll have to make that more clear.
It's a nice game. Needs a few things to make it more fun and complete, but I liked the little narrative of saving people that then follow and help you survive to save others, and the ending was nice as well.
I hope you carry on with it.
Thank you! I was really happy with the ending and tried to make the game easy enough that people would get to it.
Great concept! It's like Gauntlet meets Adventure Construction Set. The pacing of the game is quite good. Some sound effects and music would strongly enhance the game. I like how some characters have melee attacks and others launch projectiles. Nice work!
Thank you! Sound effects were in my plan for the last day, but other bugs got in the way. I'm sad I didn't have time to add sound.
Yeah, I know that same feeling in my own project too. I guess that's the nature of gamejam entries with tight due dates for uploading. There are always more features and more polish and more "bells and whistles" the author(s) would like to add if there was more time. But the beauty of a gamejam too is that it forces time constraints which result in design decisions and prioritizations in production, which is a very valuable skill to develop as a software / game developer. And "feature creep" is something that every developer needs to be wary of, even without a strict due date. I am learning lots by participating in gamejams. I participated in last year's Gamedev.tv gamejam but failed to upload anything to it in time, so I missed out a bit there. This year I submitted a partial game which is progress I suppose. Next year I hope to submit a complete game from start to finish, if I have the time to participate again next year! ... It's nice though that we can continue on our projects even after the gamejam is expired, and implement some of the enhancements and designs that time did not allow for prior.
