Love that you can play the same level but swap sides! Very cool mechanic. Well done!

Really interesting mechanic laying the traps, I thought that was a good idea.

Nice game! There are times where you have to push through hazards to move forward. Is that the intended feature? Because I was quite reluctant to do so!

This game seemed more original than most. I like that you put the effort into having different modes. congratulations.

Developer

Thanks for playing, I really appreciate the compliment.

Cool, fun game. I tried the runner mode and had a lot of fun!

Nice! I actually liked having to decide to run through traps when they were unavoidable, it felt like a little bit of strategy about spending your health was required.

I think that when I won as single player trap placer it just stopped? I guess that's winning butmaybe having another level with less trap points would be more interesting?

Well done!

Thanks for playing, in trap placer mode when he dies, I didn't have time to set it up to make it take you to a new level.

Cool little game here. made it to what I think was the end. Some parts were impossible pass without having to run through a trap. Go ahead and check out my game submission for the Jam. It's minigolf on planets, let me know what you think.

Developer

thanks for trying the game I'll check out your game.

This is a nice idea. I like the multiplayer touch!

The sprites look a little blurry. You can try to fix that on your sprites make sure you select sprite Filter mode to Point (no filter) and If you're using a TileMap set the SpriteMode to multiple and in the sprite editor slice them in the size you need (i think 16x16 for what  you used). You can also try to tweak the pixels per unit value see if it helps!

Good  job!

Developer

Thank for the advice. I look into that really appreciate it the feedback

It's a cool little game, and it's nice that you have an editor in a game jam entry! Music is too loud and not adjustable (not a huge deal), and it feels a bit bad when there's no way to not take dmg to collect some of the coins (i.e. the only to get to them is through a trap). Congrats on your submission!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback much appreciated

I think having the pixel filter set to nearest so that pixel art would be clearer would benefit this game. Also the tile based movement would make more sense. Congrats on finishing submission !
