Good job with your game. The mood was unsettling. The music creeped me out. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but there were some thin horizontal lines that showed up periodically that made it seem like things were glitching out and that also set a creepy mood. Haha, I mean it all in a good way. It was a good experience. Keep up the good work.

Hi thanks for playing and for the feedback.

- Yes, the music is tend to create creepy mood(black and white graphic helps)  to the player because after you finishing every level, the dungeon become "tiny" which might lead to what if  there is "next level" instead of "congratulation" screen? Will the player died because there is no more room or will the player escape the dungeon kind of scenarios. The music is not from me but yeah I also feel scared when I first playing the game with the music on. Kudos to the creator of this music from Pixabay

-For the line that appeared during the gameplay, I did saw people using this Kenney Assets in Unity and also have a  line that appeared during the gameplay. I assume that this came from the asset itself ( Unless I did something  wrong when I importing the sprite into tilemap)

Awesome game and really nice aesthetics ! The name is spot on, I really felt like a victim trying to beat the levels. The enemy AI is super tough, even when I thought I had outsmarted it, one of them came flying into my head! :D

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. For  the arts, it's all thanks to Kenney Assets for making a wonderful game asset that are accessible for everyone. For the enemy AI, the enemy will spawn on any ground surface including platform which consider as ground, since the level and platform will become "tiny", the chance that the enemy will spawn on top of the platform with less of reaction time and fall on you  will increase. There is bug where the enemy will jump higher than intended (since I don't know how to fix this, I consider this as  dificulty "features" instead to make up for the short gameplay duration lol)

Haha yes okay that makes sense, it did definitely add an extra layer of difficulty at the later levels :D

Hi Loved your game Theme and the nice touch making the Enemy AI. Though at some point they stopped spawning. A clear game direction would make for a good game polishing. Great work.👌

Developer

Hi thanks for the feedback. Yes after the enemy object were destroy, it is not spawning back(due to lack of my knowledge) , because of that I create 15 maximum object( gems and enemies) in hoping that player will filled the bar first
