I like the game. Relaxing music and simple mechanics.
A nice simple relaxing game, no need to rush and enjoyable. I would add a ghost of the item you want to place. that way one has greater control over the placement
A very meditative game that lacks a few basic mechanics (or did I just not figure it out?), such as rotating furniture, removing already placed furniture or moving placed furniture, and, potentially, changing the texture of furniture.
Overall, I really liked the game, thank you very much!
Thank you ! I think you didn't miss anything, it really missed the basic mechanics of the genre and I will. Color variation, or variation in general will be in my "end game" to do list, but first I really need to get the rotation, removal in !
I like the minimalistic concept of the game, I think it definitely has potential.
but for it to work you really have to polish all of the components - which is the extra challenge for a minimalistic concept in my opinion. a fun action game can be fun in its crappiest form, but when you are aiming for cosy vibes and player expression the minimal viable product must be way closer to the final product than most other types of games. I hope I don't sound overly critical, just my two cents of thoughts.
Don't worry, I understand. I'm satisfied but this only my first project as dev so I implemented what I could in the limited time I had ! And I'll work to improve this small product and its quality
Great job submitting a game to the jam! I was confused at first what to do, but I think this is a great start to this game! The placement of items seemed to be a bit random.
very chill game and well polished game i really enjoyed my time designing my own room and customizing stuff as i want, pretty awesome game good job!
Interesting prototype start.
Took me a while to understand what I could do besides rotate the room and after that I thought I had no influence over where to place items as they seemed to appear randomly.
But I think there is a bug with the RayCast(?) that determines where to place an item. It only seems to work correctly in one room rotation.
Saw in other comments that you have pre visualization on the list and I agree this would be a good addition :)
Exactly a bug with the raycast that I'm waiting for the results to be out before fixing, because I think it'll change a lot of other things in the game. And also, a tutorial or some guidance for the first time players !
Its a good start for a game, is there a way to rotate the objects or just the room? Good work! :)
During the time of the jam I couldn't implement the rotation of object, only the room rotate (and it needs to be polished) but I'll try implement it in a future version
Sounds and FEELS good to play, love the music and the sound design !
Quite surprised that such a prototype was done in so little time :D
Cool idea. I like the music and SFX.
Cool idea. I like the music and SFX.
Unfortunately I could not figure out how to place items, so I can only appreciate the idea.
Thank you for trying my game ! So far you need to click on the item on the left side menu and click on a tile where you want it to be. As some people commented, I'll try to implement some previsualisation in a later version and a tutorial.
Cool idea, and the music worked well! Good luck with the Jam :)
Placement indicators would help. Congrats on submission!
UI Scaling was my main issues, could do with being a bit bigger. And having a version showing where it'll place would be good.
Interesting take on the theme, it's great to see where people take it :)
Noted ! I'll add it to my rework of the UI ! Previsualisation is also on my to do list !
Good little cozy game with good music and sounds! Could use some tweening and placement indicators when you hover over a piece of the floor.
It looks cute. After a couple of rotation, the furniture was going into random places instead of where I clicked.
An artist's studio is indeed their own Tiny World. Nice take on the theme.
I love casual, cozy games like this! Your models are really cool and fit well with each other. I had fun designing a little art studio.
I liked the unique concept. The music is good
