Theme interpretation
This game is about our own personal moonshots; those small steps that ultimately lead to success, as long as we dare take them.

This is a fun little game that I could easily see myself playing on my phone.
Nice, peaceful game with an interesting mechanic. Would love to see if the core gameplay could be combined with light puzzles to make it slightly more engaging (without ruining the tone).
What a lovely game! I love the theme interpretation and the music. I feel like if you add a couple more mechanics and music variations you could successfully release it on mobile. I did feel in the end like I'm just sitting watching the ball fall and raise forever so I wish I had more to do during that time.
It was very touching.
Beautiful game! I love the calm pace, music and meaning behind, it is definitely a great experience that invites us all to stop for a bit and think about resilience and the process of learning.
Really well done!
I loved the soothing music that was integral to the gameplay, watching the notes create stars in its path upward. I do wish that "how to play" was explained better, as I was left shooting the notes without much thought, hoping it'll get higher. But overall, very pleasant experience!
This game immediately hit me in the heart when I reached the first goal and it said something about "Meeting a like minded individual". This is the first game jam I ever participated in with my best friend. I always had aspirations to be a game developer, but I often felt like I couldn't do it. Then that like-minded person came along and helped me try my best! And the message about getting up no matter how many times you fail is a great one, and every failure helps you get closer to success. What a great message.
This game was made for you and other likeminded individuals. I'm really glad it reached you!
I love this! Really nice, soothing music and cool interpretation of the theme! I like the focus on self growth! It would be nice if the star descended a bit faster.
Cool little game! Nice work! Loved the music and the colour you have chosen. The mechanism might be a little too simple but I still like the overall aesthetic of the game.
Thanks, glad you liked it! Complexity is subjective though. This game's simplicity made it more popular on Facebook than my previous games, as it appealed more to non-gamers. Even my mom enjoyed it!
I enjoyed relaxing for a moment with your game.
dynamic music, visuals, sfx, writing are all thought out, innovative and polished. excellent work.
I loved the overall idea of this game and the aesthetics were just spot on. Fantastic job on that! My only complaint would be that the gameplay was a bit lacking; would have loved an extra layer of complexity to keep me hooked.
Just what I needed after a stressful day! A really nice little experience that helped me relax and took my mind off of everything for a while. It felt really satisfying to just launch the star and then watch it go while listening to the music. The actual gameplay mechanic doesn't have much depth to it but for me that was part of the charm. It reminded me that things in life aren't always in my control and sometimes I just have to take my best shot and see where it takes me. Thanks for the experience! :)
You're welcome :)
I'm really glad Strings of Light had this effect on you, even if a little.
Everything felt very thematically thought out. From the artwork, to the music, and even to the theme. I really liked how the intro animation draws in the pace of the game and sets the tone immediately. The itchio page also mixes aesthetically well with the game. Personally I kind-of wished there was an ability to skip or speed-up the falling process but maybe that is because I need to relax a bit more :)
There was this really cool moment where I failed to shoot the moon and one of the motivational messages popped up, really reminded me to keep on trying!
Thanks! Either you need to relax or not is your decision to make, but I'm glad Strings of Light raised that question. As for me, I found out relaxing helps me digest my learnings. The brain works in wonderful ways.
Very, very nice art and music. It is super relaxed and perfect when you need to calm down. Sadly it quickly gets boring, but that is not important, when you want to calm down. It is nice to take a break from all the action packed games.
Very smooth and dreamy experience. Top bonus points for the localization work, the game was in french on my side ! Not that fan of the gameplay, but reading previous comments I totally get why you made those choices. Great job :)
Merci!
This is a nice and relaxing game! The acoustic guitar sounds are great! I like the sort’ve introspective nature of it.
Thank you :)
What a unique and chill experience, my favorite so far! Loved the interpretation of the theme and the message overall. I feel so much calmer after playing, maybe I should give meditation a shot. :)
Thanks Leo! I really do hope you give meditation a try. And then another ;)
This game calmed me down after playing many other games from the Jam haha

by far one of my favourites on this jam.
Thank you!
I enjoyed this game, it has a sweet premise and I liked the sound of the stars and how they went along nicely with the music. The message is lovely too. I only wish that there was a way that you could steer the moonshot itself so that there is a better sense of control over the steps you make and not mostly waiting for the game to make those steps for you. I think that would fit more with the message. Overall, this was a lovely experience.
Thanks for the feedback. I understand your concern perfectly (I myself hesitated about it). Although, after seeing how the falling down part helped the message get through and helped one of my close friends, I came at peace with it and fully accepted my game wasn't meant to entertain everyone, but to help the few that needed it.
I actually agree that the falling down part works great toward the message. I merely think that a contrast between a stronger sense of control when one is going up, and the falling down remaining as it is by taking that away, would work well. But that is how I saw it, and I think you executed what you were going for really well.
