Very cute game! Loved the way the monsters looked and the music. The combat system was interesting too.
Love the 3D pixel art style! Movement and music was nice. The only thing I really had an issue with was a bit of eye fatigue from all the dark/red/blue. That might be just me though. Great entry.
Well, to be frank, I saved humanity but have definitely no idea how I did it haha
I understood the fights were some sort of debate and choosing the correct words would convince the robot we're talking to, but I had no idea which answers were working or not, and didn't understood the role of pills.
But it was still fun to visit this little world with this sweet catchy music!
The only real problem I had was the command not always responding, like if there were some delay between each input gathering like a snowball until all sudden get chained, it was strange. Maybe a bug?
But at least, the narrative, the theme, the completeness and the audio were great and I liked the graphics!

I liked the instantaneous movement toggle, nice touch. The music was nice. I was a little confused about what I was supposed to be doing, just starting out. The combat became a bit too easy i think, but i liked it.

Neat concept for an encounter system. I managed to get the ending that I wanted, but I was never 100% sure if I'd get the result that I wanted. I'll have to check it out after you update it post jam.
I like the story and the vocabulary based combats. The little robot is cute too.

well, I watched people play but didnt play it myself. It also didn’t right any bells, haha. I watched it back in like early 2017.
Some crazy robots trying to freeze humanity, thats an interesting scenario. I like dystopian settings like that. The game itself has some nice storytelling and of course I wanted to see how everything pans out. The athmosphere was great and fitting. The "battle system", was quite fun and refreshing, I liked it, so I could breeze through to the endings. :D

Hah, managed to beat it (3/4, aligned) in less than a minute. It was actually my purpose, to see how you can align them in the game, it ended up very easy, probably too easy.
I enjoyed music and sound effects, they're really fun and add to an old-school style of a game.
On a side note I wonder if there could be an enlightening subgenre in which you can show arguments of a currently debated topics.
Well done! Yeah, it would be cool to make the alignment mini game a little deeper and more challenging.

For anyone who hasn't played yet: Please be aware that actions are queued, so button mashing may cause frustration. If you're finding movement difficult, consider turning on the instant movement option in the settings menu.
I really enjoyed the art and audio of this entry.
As others have said, the movement is a bit off compared to other dungeon crawlers which unfortunately detracts from the game play. That said, if I slow down and try not to rush my movement it is playable.
I really liked the combat system and would be interested in seeing it expanded further.

We maybe should have made the "instantaneous movement" option in the settings menu much more obvious.
(Lesson Learned: Playtest movement with people external to the dev team before launch. Making movement feel better might have been a simple variable adjustment or two.)
I enjoyed the vibe and audio, the movement was a little rough for me but I still enjoyed my time playing.

The queueing was really too much. Got ending 4 pretty quickly. The sound/music was the best part, really liked that :)

The lack of ability to strafe and the general clunkiness of the movement queuing made this quite a challenge to navigate through. I sometimes ended up locked on some wall when inputing too much movement at once, it made the exploration harder than it could have been.
Other than that it was a really neat experience. I really liked the writing on those little messages disseminated around and this combat system was a nice idea and quite well executed. Finding the word that doesn't fit never required any guesswork and the short timer kept things engaging, good job.

The movement queueing might have been a mistake as well. I implemented that because the dungeon crawler jam page specifically recommended it. In hindsight I realize that it should have been an optional feature.

That's a very nice level of polish for a game made in 3 days, it looks very clean and controls very well. I love the "combat" system by word association, but I was never able to predict the outcome of my choices, so getting the outcome you want ultimately comes down to sheer luck. Also I wasn't sure hat most of the UI referred to (when exploring). But it fits the theme perfectly, nice work!
