Unfortunate with the bug in the Jam version but I really liked the other stuff that I could get to in the post-Jam version, especially the final boss. Usually, I don't like card-based battle systems but this one had a really nice balance to it that made it fun.

Also, that ending text went on for a long time but I still liked it. I like a good epilogue.

Cool but really hard game. On my first run I wasn't even able to defeat the first enemy, but once I understood what everything did it was more enjoyable. Nice visuals and SFX, creates a nice spooky ambience.

Nice visuals, I liked the deck-building aspect. Got stuck in the card screen at one point but it was early on and didn't happen again after a restart so not too big a bug. Great entry!

Building a deck is quite fun, so I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I don't I ever completely understood how damage/poison works, but it didn't matter ultimately. I just threw everything with a big number on the enemy.  :D

The graphics and presentation is pretty nice. I liked that there is even a story with an intro, this is very nice to have. It took me a couple of tries to defeat the golden knight, but once I had a good run and prepared the right cards everything went smoothly. The game ends rather abruptly, but apart from that it feels very polished.

It was a great experience playing this game. :)

With this i have a lot of fun. I love deckbuilders, so the fight system was great for for me. Great entry, well done! Also the animations of enemies were very interesting, how did you manage to fuse 2d and 3d together to make that? It kind of remind me of Joel Haver animations <3

Really solid deckbuilding hook with the poison/stall and cleanse mechanics and everything! As others have noted I got stuck after the Templar, but I can really see the potential there, especially being tantalized by an increase to cauldron size after the boss.

Pleasantly surprised by the fluid enemy animations. Cool boss music too.

Not sure where the theme comes in? Poison vs Healing? But there’s Weaken too, does that make it a triality?

Turn speed feels slow, relative to move speed.

I’m not exactly rating games on typography but that font choice is real bad, lol.

Good combat system! And looks great! But I lacked the theme and the dungeon itself. I wish there was more dungeon exploration. Your work impressed for 7 days!

I really enjoyed the combat since I play Slay the Spire and I see a lot of influence from it which I also took into my own game. It seems like the dungeon is randomly generated which is quite nice.

The only problem for me is that the WebGL build runs so horribly that fps turns into spf. If you could release a Windows build, I would play this when I am mad at my Silent run from Spire.

I apologize for any performance you ran into with the web gl version. Now that I have a chance to upload edits I've created a windows build. You can try that and not only should it run better, but there was a glitch in the original preventing access to 75% of the game. Give it a shot!

I beat the templar, the game was very fun. Movement is just a little bit weird (it's alright) but the presentation is dynamic (I like the animation of the cauldron) and the combat and deck building are super cool.

I really enjoyed this. I don't play many deck-building games, but I got stuck in to this one! A shame it froze just as I was going to get my wish of a larger cauldron :( Only things I'd want are more variation to the dungeon/walls, to make navigation easier, and side-stepping instead of just turning. Also, I didn't really get a strong connection to the theme. Great job, though!

Fun game, although I was sad to hear that a bug prevents access to all but the first level. I was ready to poison stack my way to later levels too.  I hope you put out a post jam update so I can try out all the levels.

Really like the idea of brewing a potion for a battle sytem - I think this has a lot of potential and would love to see it developed further. I think the beginning was a bit of a chore since the Chaplin kept healing himself. It would have been a more interesting fight if I had more options at that point, but since it's the beginning I felt like I had to wait for some good RNG to progress. Overall I think it's a cool idea and would be cool to see something like this developed more.

Gameplay and music really shine here. The battle mechanic is really fun with poison and needs some strategy. The VFX and SFX are great as well. Progression feels constant and really fun, and the templar having its own music is a great way to discern them! Just one small knack is that after beating the templar I could not move.

I really love deck builders, so this game was perfect for me. I had a blast. I played through it twice. I encountered a bug where I had double UI as there was two enemies right next to each other and I guess it was trying to make me fight them both at the same time, but it didn't break the game or anything. Would love to see more of this game.

I really liked the battle mechanics, it's easy to figure them out and consistently win all encounters. It was hard to know that you debuf enemy attack only for one turn, but once it was clear, battles were enjoyable. Sadly game freezes after the templar, as this seems like there could be more content which I wished to explore.

Movements were a bit awkward, slow movement and turns animation, no strafes and no queue for movements made it feel really slow.

I played for a good while, it's addictive and overall very well made, great work!

I had a lot of performance issues (I have a recent dell xps 13, not a gaming machine but ususally decent), the framerate was quite low the whole time but I was having so much fun that I kept playing anyway.

Orientation is difficult since there is no landmark, I got lost shortly after beating the champlain and lost 5 good minutes finding the path again. The level of satisfaction I felt when I finally found the next enemy was very high 🙂

The sense of progression is good, it's a great motivation, but the game is very easy (I never felt like I was in any danger). It's not a bad thing for a jam game though, and the bosses are fun even if they are not that challenging.

After beating the Holy Templar, the keyboard controls stopped working completely, and I had to quit the game. It was a shame since I just got a significant upgrade and wanted to keep playing, but maybe that's just the end of the game in its current version.

It's impressive for game made in a week, I had a lot of fun!
